1. Oh sod it. I know she's not about, but it remind me awfully of Perdita. (I'm so torn on this one! Who but Perdita or Gauche would write "missed crizzle"?)
2. English Lady
3. Alex de Kok
4. Tatelou
5. Cantdog
6. Rebecca Leah
7. The Earl
8. Rebeccah Leah? (grasping at straws here.)
9. Dr. M. (Almost certain I'm wrong, but ... eh.)
10. Abstruse? It's damned good whomever it belongs to.
11. Lauren Hynde
12. Neonlyte. That whole section on the minivan was just superb.
13. CV IV
14. Evil Alpaca

Damn, that was hard.

Hey, The Earl - when you tally the totals, would you consider supplying a "most frequently guessed correctly" name? I'm curious to see whose style stands out :)

I actually had a look at that on Imp's challenge and I think I was most guessed correctly. Only a few didn't pick my story about the guy who gets stabbed trying to stop a robbery. Actually quite surprising considering I don't think many of you guys have seen my darkfic.

A lot guessed me right, too.

(I doubt they will in this one. Rushed job, not my usual standard. )

Think pretty much everyone busted me, but then I did cop to it before the votes were in.

Damn my obsession with the 19th century.

It would not have needed that, Shang. The sound of the piece was a familiar sound. Much easier to drop into place once one knew, of course! :D

Being fairly new to the AH I'm not that familiar everyone's writing styles yet but I'm taking a guess. I’ll be back later when I have more names.

11 minutes to go! I would be expecting that at least half of the people that entered the contest to have at least tried to identify the other pieces' authors. This is a bit disheartening...

I guess I thought we weren't supposed to. That it would probably give us away?

I purposefully didn't offer my name up on a guess because I wanted to see if anyone could pick my sample "out of the blue".

(Well done, by the way.) :)

Of course you were supposed to. That's what the wildcards in the list were for, partly. For you to pick one to list as a guess for your own.

Well, hell.

Perhaps if I'd read the rules . . .

Put some thought into it, did you? :D

Actually, my first guess was that Colonel Mustard did it in the study with a pruning shear, but then I discovered I was guessing wrong.

:D
