Amy was a very care free young woman, she was always very sweet, not allowing anyone to try and control her. She was a healer but because the villagers thought it was witch craft they banned her branding her as a witch but she didn't care. Living deep within the forest she seemed to be more at home with the creatures of the woods. She was out for a walk one afternoon, a beautiful day one that had some grey she loved it being like this, to her it was perfect to others it was something people hated, like they were afraid to get wet. But as she moved she heard crying and stopped, following it her eyes went wide seeing someone in a trap.

Erin, prince of his tribe, bucked slightly in the confines of a snap-trap, trying without success to remove the bond from his leg. All he had accomplished thus far was to cause th ewound to bleed more, creating a ragged cut along his left rear calf.

"Damn humans. Always causing problems..."

As he paused to assess the bondy, the tall, brozed centaur swpt back his hair, letitng the black tresses splay casualy about his shoulders.

Walking out of the brush she slowly went up to him, looking down she sighed sadly "I do not understand why hunters do this to such beautiful creatures, im so damn sick of this" She walked up to him "Let me get you out of this stupid trap" She knelt down and began to slowly pry open the trap and looked up at him.

There was a click as the trap unsnapped, and Erin started to move free, wincing from the pain in his leg, and looking down at the girl with some small measure of thanks, mitigated slightly by the fact that it was her race that got him into this mess.

"Uhm.......Thank you child. I'll be on my way now."

Turning, the Centaur began to move slowly back into the wood, limping noticably, and unable to more than stumble slowly.

Amy watched him "W...Wait" She said looking back as she walked to him "Let me help you, if hunters try and come after you, you may fall and become more seriously hurt" She said softly "I don't expect you to trust a human but at least trust me to heal your wound" Her eyes a deep brown almost begging for him to let her heal him.

The tall centaur eyed her for a moment, hesitation clear in his posture, before at last speaking.

"Very well, but do not attempt to decieve me."

She nodded taking his wounded leg placing her hand right over the wound but not touching she closes her eyes and a warmth could be felt, a light white glow was seen when she removed her hand his wound was gone and so was the pain, she slowly stood up but lost her footing and fell.

He bent his lore legs to allow him to reach down, picking her into his strong arms, and then holding her there, as he placed a cool palm upon her forehead.

"You are weakened by your healing of me. Let me take you where you may rest."

She looked up into his eyes "Its...alright I do not want you or your people in danger because of me" She placed her hand on his and smiled some. "unlike the others I care for your race, you deserve to live in peace and not be hunted, I don't want you helping me turn around and bite you for it" She was worried if he helped her he would wind up hurt...or worse!

He smiled down at her, his gentle features unconcerned.

"Do not worry. I shall take you to my village. No human may go there unless they are brought by my race. The place cannot be found without our aid."

She smiled some and nodded "As long as your sure..." She was about to say a name but forgot she didn't know him. "by the way....my name is Amy...." She said softly. "Wish we had met under better circumstances" She said softly.

I am Erin, and I must say I am Very pleased by the circumstances. Had you not have come to my aid.....the stars only know what might have happened to me. I am in your debt. Now Amy, would you be so kind as to climb onto my back? I can't very well carry you the whole way in my arms."

The Centaur smiled down at her, his expression humorous.

She nodded some and went to his side she searched herself making sure there was nothing on her that could cut him or scratch him. Once she did that quickly, she placed her hands on his back and propped herself up and swung her legs over and sat up. "Much like riding a horse" She smiled "I don't mean that in any disrespect Erin I just know I wont have to worry about falling off" She smiled.

He chuckled.

"It was a statement of fact? I am part horse. That is the origin of my race. Athena decreed that man alone was not beautiful enough to understand nature, and so made my race one with the horse so that we might be closer to it. To protect it from man, and to safeguard it for the gods."

She smiled holding onto him "I have always admired your kind, your very beautiful, word ive always seen your people from tales is magnifciant but will say you are the first centaur ive ever met and im glad ive met you" She sighed a bit as she felt relaxed on his back.

Chuckling, the Centaur took off, his powerful legs pounding into the thick leaves as the pair galloped through the wilderness. He enjoyed the weight of her upon him, even if it did make him a bit.....uncomfortable. His groin was allready aching from the light touch of her skin to his, her breasts rubbing against his back. It was almost too much for him to take. Every stamp of his hooves only increased his discomfort. After 5 or six miles of this, he came to a rest beside a stream, and let her dismount.

"We will need to wait here for a few moments. I cannot run any further."

Amy felt him running, galloping as she felt very happy that she was there with him, a grin on her face as she relaxed when he stopped she got up and removed her self from him, looking at him she sighed. "Is everything ok?" She knew centaurs can run without stopping for hours and yet he didn't, she smiled as she relaxed under a tree away from him to give him space.

"Ahh.....its is nothing. Just a peculiarity of our species. Having you on my back caused me some.......discomfort. I just need a few moments rest before we can continue."

He glanced into the darkening sky above, frowning slightly. It would be difficult to find their way back when it became totaly dark.

She wondered what he meant but thought just for a moment and smiled "Is there anything I can do Erin?" she grew worried she hoped that she didn't hurt him "My weight didn't hurt you did I?" She wasn't ignorant but because her brain was in that moment meant she was, smiling into his eyes.

"Uhm..I don't believe so. only one of my own kind could help with this problem. Human females are simply not equipped for it."

He smiles nervously, aware that being in her presense, and discussing this delicate issue are only prolonging his problem.

Amy smiled at Erin "If your sure" she relaxed a bit using her cape to put something over her, she had started a fire and was proud of herself for staying strong, looking at Erin she smiled "If you change your mind I more then happy can help you.."

"I would like that very much......but I do not think a human could understand this problem. Your race doesn't suffer from this sort of thing I think."

She smiled "We have different bodies Erin but we all need the same thing and I do not mean the need to be accepted..." She had a feeling she understood but wanted to hear it from him.

Erin looked mildy uncomfortable.

"I Appreciate your concern.....but human females simply can't function in that capacity. I would probably injure you if we tried."

She smiled "you need to come and understand Erin im human yes but im different, im magical so please tell me what it is you need me to do and we can see if we can do it" Sh e said softly.
