Daniel
Age: 19, just had his birthday.
Hair: Short ebony coloured hair, very fine and thin. Not quite a crew cut.
Eyes: Oak brown eyes.
Height: 5'8'' tall
Weight:140 pounds
Medium build with an athletic frame, softly toned muscles and sharp facial features. Broken nose, strong arms and shoulders. 6 1/2 inches.
Daniel was cold, and hungry, and tired, and lost. Even though he was wrapped in layers upon layers of sweaters, socks, long johns and underwear, the biting northern cold was still managing to pierce his body to the bone. He knew he was in danger of catching hypothermia, if he didn't have it already, but he also knew that his cabin was somewhere near by.
This was a stupid idea, trying to race the storm and win... Daniel thought as he trudged along in his wide snow-shoes, wishing he was back in town, sitting at the ski-lodge, drinking hot chocolate with that cute red-head who he shared a seat with earlier in the day.
Now, he felt like his brown hair were tiny icicles, digging into his face. Nearly every part of his body was numb with cold, and he was getting more and more tired with each step.
Now I wish I wasn't so lean and mean. I'd kill to be obese right now... if only for the extra padding to keep me warm. Where... WAIT! There it is! There's the cabin! Daniel felt his heart leap up when he saw a dim light past the swirling snow in the inky blackness. It was a good thing his parents cabin wasn't in the woods.
It'd be bitterly ironic if Daniel died on his first trip alone, after promising his parents over and over again that nothing would happen to him.
And so Daniel trudged. And trudged. And trudged. He could see that the light was getting bigger, but also fainter. Each step he took felt like he was wearing hundred pound weights on his legs.
Don't pass out... don't... pass... Daniel couldn't even finish his thought before he fell face forward into the snow, a dozen yards from his cabin.
