We agree again, bi. I've written plenty of group sex stories, but I try to keep the sex to three people at most. Any more than that and it can get confusing for the reader and writer. You need to make all your characters unique, but especially so if you're writing an orgy and you want to express what each character is doing or feeling.

bi: depending upon the nature of the story, the utter lack of distinctiveness of certain of the characters may actually be desirable.

I've written a swinger's party story. I've edited twice so far. Each time I find another error where I've got the wrong people screwing.
Word of advice: don't use names that could be male or female. You could end up with Chris getting her pussy licked in one scene. Then two scenes later somebody is sucking his dick.
Eventually, I'll finish editing it and get it posted. With luck, I should be able to post it next month.

I have problems visualising orgy sex scenes in stories due to the confusion of names and persons that appear to be thrown in to the action with little thought for the reader or how he/she can sort it out in their head... orgy sex scenes are not one of my favourites in written work, although fun on video when it's easy to sort out who's who It can all get very repetitive in a written piece, Bob and Carol are doing exactly the same things as Ted and Allice, so are Mike and Julie and didn't Mike already stick his finger up Bob's ass, or was that Ted's ass I much prefer straight hetro gangbang sex with just one woman, (so does the wife ), or maybe two ladies and multiples of men...

There's a guy on here who wrote a group sex story a while back using about 5 or 6 different characters and with not a word of narrative, all dialogue, each character introducing another in spoken words alone, and by heck I didn't get lost once... He pointed me to it when I asked a question about dialogue in fiction stories and how much was needed versus narrative descriptions, he said he's written both, all narrative, and all dialogue, just experimental stuff with no real purpose other than to see if he could pull it off, but I think he managed Ok even if he wasn't being serious about it.
Can't think of his name off hand, I'll put my mind to it and let you know later if you're interested.

I can manage up to 4. Otherwise the story needs to focus on one or two character's personal experiences.
I really feel that more so than usual, orgies are probably more fun to be in than to read about or watch on film.
The only really good orgy scenes I've read have been in long stories where I already was familiar with most of the characters before the orgy.

Well, there are circumstances where confusion WOULD be interesting. An erotica version of "Much Ado ABout Nothing"(? I think that's the Shakespeare play with twins, but I'm not sure) perhaps?
