So many bags of campaign cash to collect! So many states to visit.

Trump brought his road show to Wisconsin, and his coronavirus infected crew.

Trumpie had a little ride in his million dollar SUV, and a little ride on Marine One helicopter.

South Dakota is bringing in more resources to fight a wildfire that's burning near
Mount Rushmore ahead of next week's visit to the monument by (Presiderp) Donald
Trump. The fire that started in Custer State Park on Wednesday has burned an estimated
150 acres about 6 miles south of the stone monument.

Fire expert:
Mount Rushmore fireworks show 'ill-advised' due to dry conditions and high fire risk.

Back in December, Black Hills resident and wildfire expert Bill Gabbert called
shooting off tons of fireworks over a ponderosa pine forest in July “literally insane.”

“Burning debris, the burning embers and unexploded shells fall into a ponderosa pine
forest and ponderosa pine is extremely flammable,” said Gabbert. “Shooting fireworks
over a ponderosa pine forest, or any flammable vegetation, is ill advised and should not
be done. Period.”

Social distancing will not be required at Mount Rushmore event

Jun 10, 2020

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

(Dakota News Now) Organizers have scrapped plans to enforce social distancing
at the Fourth of July Mount Rushmore celebration, where President Trump and
Governor Noem will be in attendance.

The state is giving out 7,500 tickets via a lottery system, which opened up late last week.

The state also decided not to reduce the amount of tickets being given out as a result
of COVID-19, only as a method to help control the number of people and vehicles in
the park. People who do not receive tickets in the lottery will still be able to watch
from outside the park grounds.

Despite the lack of measures, Governor Noem says that she is not worried
about a potential spike in COVID-19 cases as a result of the event, but that
the state's medical system is ready should one happen.

https://www.dakotanewsnow.com/conte...uired-at-Mount0-Rushmore-event-571132391.html

At a May 21 teleconference, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem said she sent a letter
asking U.S. President Donald Trump to help end Cheyenne River Sioux Indian
Reservation coronavirus checkpoints, noting that they set “precedent.”

Her remark was in response to a journalist’s question relating her stance against
checkpoint legality to her concern over use of the reservation routes to carry
supplies for impending construction of the Keystone XL tar-sands crude-oil
pipeline, opposed by all nine of South Dakota’s tribes.

“For every action that we take, and the tribes take, they’re setting precedent,”
said Noem. “If we allow checkpoints to shut down traffic in this situation,
then we are setting precedent for that to happen far into the future in many
other situations as well.”

“I think there’s more at play here than just the right of way,” conjectured Kimberly
Craven, legal director of the ACLU of South Dakota. “I’ve been looking at Highway
212 -- the one running east and west -- and that’s the one I think TransCanada will
want to use to haul all their pipes over,” she told the Native Sun News Today.

Before a slew of tribal nations went to court, Treasury promised Indian Country
that it was going to start sending out the money on April 24 -- ahead of the deadline.
But after the litigation began, the department disclosed that it was having difficulties
coming up with an allocation method.

On May 5, as Trump was on his way to Arizona for a "roundtable" with a very small
group of tribal leaders, Treasury announced that it had come up with a solution, but
one in which only $4.8 billion was going to be sent out. A senior aide later spilled
the beans on the behind the scenes dealings -- the decision was made so the president
could look good.

Mar 16, 2020 · The U.S. stock market plunged to its worst day in more than three decades

Overnight the very language of governance has changed. The defence secretary has
described US cities as the “battlespace” and the president has rejoiced in his a

As each extraordinary moment slides by it poses its own question –
“How did we get here?” – but then is swept away by the relentless flow
of the Twitter feed. Simply trying to take stock is exhausting.

One reason it is so hard to keep track of the descent is the near instant normalisation
of every bizarre new turn, administered like a fast-acting anaesthetic.

Trump is surrounded by more coherent people insisting nothing out of the ordinary
is happening. Anyone unable to restrain themselves from yelling “this is crazy” left

Trump the sociopath, made use of a sociopath, to bring attention to his re-election campaign- It

took many amoral men, to rip apart moral and good people, to convince others to believe a lie.

I have to hand it to Trump, the method of having just one person, to convince others of a whole
issue, works.

Trump broke the truth, broke their lives, ended their lives, because he is a monster.

What is grotesque, is the people that had the power and ability to set everything right,

America lost her chance at having a President that we could have tolerated-
business as usual- Democrats trying to fix problems, and Republican fighting
everything and anything that would improve the quality of life for all Americans.

Instead, Trump sat his golf arse down in the Oval Office and started his offensive
against American citizens.

The majority of Americans do not want Trump as president.
The numbers of people that have marched against Trump cannot be hidden.

Despite help from the governments of other countries, campaign contributions from
major industries, the finance world, the Religion network, every dirty election trick
in the Republican book, America sided with Democrats. Even Mitt Romney was
caught telling his clients-

"...they account for “47 percent” of voters and he does not “worry about those people.”

“There are 47 percent who are with him,” Romney said of Obama, “who are dependent
upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has
a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food,
to housing, to you name it. These are people who pay no income tax.”

He said that his job “is not to worry about those people. I’ll never convince them
they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives.”

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany's parents received at least $1 million
in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, according to Small Business Administration
data released this week.

McEnany Roofing, a commercial roofing company in Florida owned by McEnany's
parents, Michael and Leanne, received somewhere between $1 million and $2 million
in government assistance.

The loan was first reported by The Daily Dot.

The Daily Dot reported that about 30 people work in McEnany Roofing's corporate offices.
The company employs 141 people total, according to the loan data.

Millions in government assistance went to billionaires, such as Kanye West,
and the families of executive branch officials, such as senior White House
adviser Jared Kushner and Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao.

Kayleigh McEnany has been a critic of such programs, telling former Fox Business host
Trish Regan in 2018 that "it was exactly right that welfare recipients should feel
enough shame to motivate themselves off of government assistance."

Roger Stone has escaped punishment for his crimes. Trump is sending a signal

By commuting Stone’s sentence, Trump is telling others who might commit crimes
on his behalf that he’s got their back

- Andrew Gawthorpe

A president who is willing to use executive clemency to forgive violations of constitutional
rights and protect himself from the rule of law could become, as Mason foresaw, a monarch.

At the Virginia ratifying convention, James Madison replied to Mason that such a president
would surely face impeachment. But today’s Republican party has made it clear that it will
protect Trump from impeachment even in the face of overwhelming evidence of his abuses
of power. Instead, by refusing to convict, they licensed Trump to double down.

Roger Stone is the canary in the coal mine. Trump’s ability and willingness to commute
his sentence is a reminder that for all its genius, the American founding left behind a
structure which can be exploited and abused by an unscrupulous president. As we live
through what are hopefully the dying days of the presidency of the most unscrupulous
of them all, we have to remain on our guard. Partly because of his fears over the pardon power
George Mason ultimately became one of only three of the framers of the constitution to
refuse to sign the final document, believing it created a blueprint for tyranny. Proving him
wrong requires constant vigilance, now and in the future.

U.S. Marshals to conduct inquiry over protester injured by federal officer, Wheeler says

The U.S. Marshals Service will conduct a full investigation after a federal officer shot
a Portland protester in the head with an impact weapon Saturday night, Mayor Ted
Wheeler said Sunday night.

Donavan La Bella, 26, was sent to the hospital after suffering a skull fracture that
required surgery, his mother said Sunday.

https://www.oregonlive.com/news/202...-injured-by-federal-officer-wheeler-says.html

July 12, 2020

One video shows the protester holding a speaker while standing across the street from the
courthouse between two parked cars. Police, who appear to be federal officers, throw a
canister that lands at protester's feet, which he lightly tosses away from him and toward
the officers. It lands partway across the street.

A few seconds later, a firing sound can be heard, and the man collapses to the ground
dropping the speaker. The video shows no sign of aggressive provocation on the part
of the protester, who appeared to be standing alone.

The Department of Homeland Security has deployed officers in tactical gear from around
the country, and from more than a half-dozen federal law enforcement agencies and
departments, to Portland, Oregon

Portland Deputy Police Chief Chris Davis said his department did not request the
assistance and did not coordinate efforts with the federal government during often
chaotic clashes that have ranged across several downtown blocks after midnight
for weeks.

“I don’t have authority to order federal officers to do things,” Davis said.
“It does complicate things for us.”

Trump's 'occupying army' in Portland critically injure peaceful protester
July 13, 2020 10:27 AM

A Portland, Oregon peaceful protester was critically injured Saturday night by one of the
federal officers Donald Trump ordered into the city to "protect" federal property.

Donovan LaBella was shot in the head by a federal officer. He had been standing across
the street from the federal courthouse holding a speaker, standing alone and not provoking
anything, according to videos posted to social media. An officer threw a canister at LaBella
who tossed it back toward the cops and then was immediately shot in the head by a "non-
lethal" projectile. LaBella's mother spoke with reporters and said his face and skull were
fractured and he had to undergo facial reconstructive surgery Sunday.

Trump issued an executive order on June 26 to protect federal property and monuments,
and to authorize Department of Homeland Security to deploy officers from around the
country and from at least half a dozen different federal agencies and departments.
They've converged on Portland as part of Trump's "law and order" campaign. "Once we
surged federal law enforcement officers to Portland," a senior official told the AP,
"the agitators quickly got the message." Portland's Deputy Police Chief Chris Davis
made clear that his department did not ask for federal troops, have not coordinated
with them, and do not appreciate this incursion. "I don't have authority to order federal
/officers to do things," Davis said. "It does complicate things for us."

The U.S. Marshals Service said on Sunday that it is investigating the incident, which
happened while officers were “securing the perimeter of the federal courthouse,”
according to a statementsent to The Washington Post. The Department of Homeland
Security, which also has agents at Portland’s protests, did not respond to a request
for comment late Sunday.

DHS recently dispatched officers from more than a half-dozen agencies and departments
to Portland to tamp down the demonstrations, the Associated Press reported on Friday.

officers from the Marshals Service lined up outside the Mark O. Hatfield Courthouse,
which has become a nexus for protesters.

The president is behind in key states. Fighting on TV won’t turn things around

From the very first minute of the first presidential debate, the 45th president behaved
as he has for the last four years: as unpresidential as possible.

He heckled. He bullied. He blustered and he lied. He came out swinging and didn’t mind
where his fists landed: his opponent, the moderator, the Biden family, the microphones.
It didn’t much matter.

“Will you shut up, man? This is so unpresidential,” gasped Joe Biden at the end of a chaotic
discussion about the supreme court. “That was a really productive session. Keep yappin’, man.”

Joe Biden questioned whether Trump was smart enough to handle the coronavirus.

Biden's criticized Trump's COVID response by saying-
"A lot more people are going to die unless he gets a lot smarter a lot quicker,"

The kicker: “There will be a vaccine very soon.”

Biden fell back on his bottom line:

“A lot of people died, and a lot more are going to unless he gets a lot smarter.”

Seth Myers lets the FOX TV slime slide out, and onto your video screen

The FOX TV gang downgrading Joe Biden, before the debate-
hosting Rudy Giuliani, so that they can say ", we did not say it, Rudy did."

How did that work out for them ? (FOX TV, it is what it is, because of who they are.)

Seth Myers supercut of the moderator telling Trump "no."

Evil Toddler Trump does not listen.

Have we had enough headlines, to distract us from the coronavirus pandemic?
