I'm looking for help in fleshing out a story about four couples that go away to a secluded house on a lake for a long weekend. There is obvious sexual chemistry between the eight of them, flirting, suggestive conversation, skimpy clothing.

And there is a room off of the living room entered through a smaller than normal door. The floor and half of the walls of the room are padded. There are no windows and only one small light on a 10-second delay timer. When the door is closed and the light turn off, it is pitch black.

Over the course of the first day, each person learns about the "grope room," so tagged in very small letters on the door, and it's existence enters their conversation on and off, especially on the second day after an afternoon of drinking. Curiosity is piqued! Over dinner and wine, it is decided they will try it that night at 11:00.

Where to go from here?

Try some action before interaction, maybe seeing private strip shows or group masturbation.
It would be more believable if they got more comfortable in their own skin first, rather than jump right in the 7 hours in heaven game.

Perhaps a good start is to flesh out the "how"s and "why"s... How about a "who", too? lol

Who owns the cabin? Does it belong to any one of the eight? Perhaps the parents of any one of them? (More likely if we're talking about eighteen to even thirty-something year olds.) A boss? Etc.

Why are the four couples there? Are they all friends? Is this a time share place and they (or some of them - like two groups of four) got their days/dates mixed up and now so many people are there at once? Perhaps they're all co-workers together with their spouses?

Once you get some basics on who these people are and why they are there you can start in on how/why they find the "grope room". I also suggust that you play up on it more than "guy A touched gal C" or whatever. You need a nice build up.

Either you may wish to shrink down the number of people involved, don't include everyone sexually after you've introduced them, or build this story in a novella or multi-chapter series.

:)

Wow, I like this idea...

I see it as four couples that are friends. They always go to the same resort every summer. Maybe they met in college and went their separate ways. Then later in thier carreers when they could afford it, they started going to a resort that's central to where everyone lives, but not near any of them.

Of the cabins on the lake, there is one that is larger then the others. But, it's always booked well in advanced. They get put on a waiting list for a reservation at that cabin and two years later, they manage to get it.

Guy A and Gal A are the first to arrive. They drop their luggage in the room they pick and start exploring. That's when they find the Grope Room. (big room or small?) I'm thinking that on the wall where the stairs are, there's a set of shelves. That's where they find a small latch. It lets the shelves pull out and under the stairs is the Grope Room. Just enough room for four to stand, or two to lay down on the padded floor.

When they first go in, they find that the lights go out. (One thing I wasn't sure of was the 10 second timer. When the door closes, does it wait 10 seconds for the light to go out? Or, after it goes out does the light come back on in 10 seconds?) They discover most of the particulars of the Grope Room. When they get out, Guy A moves a vase in front of the latch to hide it. Guy A and Gal A agree to keep it a secret.

Guy A reneges on the secret when he shows it to Gal C. When the light goes out, she quips, "I can see why they call it the Grope Room. You have to grope your way back out." She yells when he gropes her, but the padded walls keep anyone from hearing her. Guy A manages to quiet her down before they leave. But, she's still pissed off at him and doesn't talk to him.

Thinking only she and her husband know about it, Gal A shows it to Guy B. He doesn't yell out but gropes back. At least, until Gal A knelt down.

One by one, they each show somebody else the room until eventually, everybody knows about it but doesn't say anything to anyone else. How would Guy B tell his wife about it? But, he does tell Guy D about it and he shows the room to Gal B.

Late one night, Guy B and Gal D go into the room, thinking everybody asleep. Instead, they find Guy A and Gal C already in there.

Don't mean to write the story for you. I'd read the thread yesterday and have been thinking about it since. Don't worry Fantasies, we had a blast in there and your wife doesn't know. Although, I did see her go in there with:kiss:

I see a lot of dynamics in a story like this. Maybe couple C are swingers and Gal C thinks nothing of telling Guy C that she's going to meet Guy A in the Grope Room. Maybe couple B are more straight laced. But it doesn't stop Guy B from fooling around when he thinks noone will ever know.

Then, on the last night, they're sitting around the fireplace with drinks. Some asks, "so who doesn't know about the Grope Room."

"Grope Room? What's that?" Gal B asks.

Grope Room!

The first rule of grope room is...
Well, naturally must be 18 and up, but the second rule should be:
Must have consent of all partners (may have multiple partners).

Third rule: May allow others to watch if all are without imaging or recording devices (cell phones will be confiscated upon entering).

Fourth rule: If with family, consent will not take place, but family members must not see or hear who his or her partner is (can only have 1 partner).

Fifth rule: Two partners may only go home with each other if a blindfold and ear plugs stay on at least 1 partner with identity kept secret throughout the year (must also be accompanied by staff member).

I purposely didn't put the "Must wear protection" rule in (would be second rule) because I don't think real consequences should mix with fictional sex stories.

Amazingly enough, grope rooms (AKA love shacks) are real (for swinger parties).

Four couples secretly swapping with eachother in one small unlit room during a two week vacation? You'd need a scorecard just to keep up. Even if all eight individuals were clearly defined characters, it still seems a very far-fetched idea.

Perhaps the two girls had shared a sexual experience in college, that neither of them had ever told their men about. They have both fantasized about it ever since, but have never spoken about it. It would give a basis for some existing sexual tension, a long-felt want, and the fun of keeping a secret. You could use what each girl is thinking to allude to it, as they flash longer and longer looks at each other, silently communicating a desire to relive it.

Another thought - they were both quite drunk when they explored each other at the college party, held at a joint friend's house, but neither remembers the exact details. As each couple discovers the grope room, each girl has a sense of deja-vu. They have been in this house before...

Although I don't like a reality mix, I think this story should somewhat be grounded in reality.
Grope rooms or love shacks aren't really shacks at all, but more like mini apartments that can hold many people at a time.
They're left over from the hippy days of the sexual revolution (see The Joy Of Sex) and are generally found in spas at ranches which have turned into nudist resorts.

Grope rooms are generally not known to the conservative, but there is nothing secret about them.
The character relationship you have built up as lust and sex rather than love and flirtation is somewhat unrealistic (must have consent).

You may confirm what I'm saying on the MTV/VH1 documentary The Sexual Revolution and HBO's Real Sex.

Teen Party

This was used as an entry into a bro/sis story.
The party is attended by college age couples except for one brother and sister that attend.
The time is long enough to have sex. It is expected those that enter secretely from different rooms when the lights are all turned off will have sex.
The group is in on a plan. The third time, the gal and guy are the brother and sister selected to enter. They do not know anyone else knows after they all go home. More follow with no comments about what anyone did.
Turns out each knew without saying anything. The game continues till everyone has been in a couple of times Her hair shampoo gave her away and his after shave told her who he was.
The story goes on from there as they want each other and work out the hesitation till it happens again.

adult games

This reminds me of an adult version of spin the bottle - as a kid you spin the bottle and go into the closet with the person that the bottle points to and steal a little kiss.... or a little more....

But this room (the grope room) would have one door in and a door out, so that the people on one side of the door don't know who is left in there, if anyone???

You spin the bottle, you go into the room - you can stay or feel your way out and leave. The person that the bottle points to waits a minute and follows you in. They have the same choice - stay or go....

That's exactly it!
The kid's game is called "7 minutes in heaven" and can be played with spin the bottle or Twister.
The adult version is called "7 hours in heaven" and can be played with strip spin the bottle or naked Twister.

In highschool all you do is kiss the person in a closet.
In College it's a full make out session with heavy petting.
The adult game has a partner or partners feeling and fondling genitals with a blindfold and earplugs on.
Everybody is restricted from penetration of anus or vagina (mouth is ok if with voyeur).

This story has potential.
Imagine a woman who likes licking pussy, and doesn't realize she's licking a man's hairy butt.

Cool idea for a story. Would be fun to try in real life!

Picking up on what JRaven said: what of this was a regular (or semi-regular) group that got together to play? And there were planned activities (swaps, mutual masturbation) during the day and the grope room was their 3 hours of anything goes anonymity?

What if one of the couples was new to the group - and lusted after by the others - culminating in the Grope Room.

This idea reminds me of '7minutes in Heaven.' :D It is a game we used to play when I was young. Basically, you get picked to go in the closet for 7 minutes with someone and you can do what ever you want. I loved paying that game. :) You could use that room for that or lots of other things. I like the idea of the eight people joking about that room and they agree that you take your chances if you go in there because in that room anything goes.

I like the idea that there are 2 doors to get in and they decide that boys use one and girls use the other so no one knows who is in already. Having played that game I’d probably be the first person in that room. The problem if they got together they could figure out who is missing so is in that room. This means they know who is in and who they send so the only one that doesn’t know is the one already inside. So…

Anyways, that’s my idea on that. :cattail:

RoamMe :rose:

Hummm - if it were completely dark and there were several bodies in the room, do you think you could figure out which one was your spouse/partner???? Do you think that they would play the same way knowing that this was an instance of anonymity?

I really like the idea that the folks entering the room do not know who has left and who has stayed in the room - touching n tasting, feeling each other..... skin against skin, feeling the heat of the other bodies against you.....

I love the idea of a grope room.
For me the idea of the couple scould be some sort of sex club with the room being the ultimate in pleasure and "awarded" as a prize. The winner goes into the room and is tied to a table. Then in turn somebody comes into the room and does something to the person tied up. The light could be a timer as to how long they have to give the pleasure. The person able to make them come within the time limit is the nesxt one tied to the table.
Its just an idea.
