GRITS

Grits are finely ground white corn.

To cook them you bring water to a boil add the grits, reduce the heat and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.

I love mine smoothered in butter.

Toadman,,, you'd be MUCH better off with the female variety,,, they are food as well ya know?

Nothing sweeter to nibble on than a girl raised in the south!

i figured it would cost more to ship a southern girl up than apack of grits, but if you got the money CW send a grit gal on up, I won't complain

Good point Toadman,,, forgot about the shipping part,,, I was merely thinking of the taste qualities of the two, in which case a grits gal is far superior to some mushy corn by product ( with or without butter ) that's usually poorly prepared,,,

I may have to ponder on this a few minutes,,,, are Candians allowed to import food products ?

well i have salt cured virginia country ham sent to me from a friend every month. and I have candy sent to me from all over the world. so i don't think there would be a problem with grits.

I love grits-

Grits and over-easy eggs

Cheese grits

Grits, country ham, red-eye gravy and biscuits

Grits and butter or margarine, salt and pepper

Also-Girls Raised In The South, finger licking good, yummy, hush my mouth!

Grits (the food, not the girls, though we are quite tasty hehehe) taste a little like cream of wheat. I know alot of people eat that up north. Put butter and salt in it and its pretty close.

My wife, the fantasy goddess, eats hers with SUGAR!! Damn yankees. lol
