I find it just as boring as the Book.

I thought the last episode was the best one this season.

Personally... I HATE Meredith and Mcdreamy.

I like every other character (On what fucking planet does ANY HET-Male pick dark & twisty over Redheaded & Smokin').

But to answer your question... yes, I'm there.

By the way, read the writer's blog on the ABC site for the show... it's really cool

I love the show...They screwed me up by moving it to Thursday nights, but thank God for TiVo.

We love it.....watched the first series here in UK (channel 5 were showing it), and the second series in States. Unfortunately, the option for the latest series in UK has been taken by a tv company I can't pick up without a Sky disc.

Dammit !!!

Since this is the raging debate at work:
Who's cheering Finn (sp.)? And, who wants her to pick McDreamy?

i'm sickly obsessed with that show. in fact, i'm getting ready to head to my mom's to watch the second half of season one with them (they've never seen it before but now are hooked)

I like the show and watch it every week, but I do think Meredith is the least interesting of all the characters - I just don't get what the big attraction is and why she's got two guys after her. She's so...bland. McDreamy will win out, because Finn is too cheerful...no angst and drama.

George and Callie are hilarious - and hurray, a woman larger than a twig is actually portrayed as sexy, sensual, and in a romantic role!

Love the show. Bailey is my favorite character but every character has some interesting quirks. Meredith is whiney, part of her character. There's still something about her that speaks to me. But I really hated that she didn't stand firm against the temptation with McDreamy at the end of last season. I'm starting not to like him too much. My favorite episode was the one with the unexploded munitions. That should have been the season finale.

there is a book?
Gray's Anatomy the standard Anatomy Reference in Medical School Anatomy Classes since the second edition in 1880's when they added "girly parts".

Mostly, I can't watch Television at all.

Ditto. I've long since stopped watching it. Sometimes I'll tune in if there's a really good movie on, but in general... meh.

Just look at what they call programming these days. Six hours each week over various versions of CSI, four more of Law and Order and so on. I only watch PBS when there is something interesting (like Nova). And South Park religiously, but don't tell anyone ;)

I've stopped keeping track of all the imported shows that are aired here. The big ones are Desperate Housewives, Lost, Sex and the City, Fear Factor and others.

Gray's Anatomy (Gray or Grey?) started airing here fairly recently.

I think you're right that it will be McDreamy, but I like Finn a lot (because there isn't the angst and the drama, lol...I need a real life Finn!)

Sandra Oh's character is probably my favorite. But, of course, I love George, too. Is his gf's name Callie? My (lesbian) best friend watches the show just to watch her, lol.

I too am a fan of the show, mostly for Izzy. She is too fine. :) Put me in the Finn camp, I would pick him too. Meredith's whining is funny at times and occasionally profound.

Maybe we should start a letter writing campaign to get them to have Meredith choose Finn. :D Nice guys like him should not finish last. I would definitely pick him.

I prefer McVet from what little I have seen him. I think McDreamy has taken the "moral highground" by returning to his wife, and knows it, and keeps Meredith hanging on. If he really wanted to make it work, they would go back to their old hospital or another[but no show obviously]. I like her whine 95% of the time, but don't like it that they call her a 'slut'.

I actually like the book, though the plot needs some work. Big fan of Callie, but I can't figure out George, or most of the other relationships. It's still fun to watch even if it isn't medically accurate. You'd have to pretty dull to not let (the writers') imagination be interesting.

It's definitely medically MELODRAMATIC! But, surprisingly I haven't seen a lot of glaring inaccuracies. ER used to be hysterical, but I haven't watched that in years.

Hmm, or it could be that I'm so blinded by Patrick Dempsey's eyes that I just don't notice!

I got roped into it by my 80-year old parents during a recent visit, of all things! On the list of words I never thought I'd hear them utter, "McDreamy" has to be at the top.

It's really a shameless soap, but I must say it's very well done. There are enough plots that seem to border just this side of outlandish to keep it compelling.

I also find Meredith whiney, McDreamy shallow, McVet more earnest than you'd think, given his good looks. Sandra Oh is great - her boyfriend is saddled with the 'serious black man' role like Eric LaSalle on ER, and even she can't get him out of the ditch. Get a sense of humor, for chrissake! Izzy is a total dish :p . That George and Callie thing is interesting, just because you can't really see what either of them see in each other, except that they're wrestling with the 'is this the best I'll ever do?' question. It's jarringly real in the midst of such melodrama.

Personally, up until recent events, I found George cute, incredibly funny and sweet. His inability to deal with Callie as a grown up is annoying. I also think Callie is incredibly hot. I wouldn't have thrown either one of them into the "best I'll ever do" category.
