Greymane is city suffering under a strictly imposed Imperial Quarantine. The city is being ravaged by Red Eye Fever, a deadly sickness that results in savagery and mindless aggression.

Trapped within the city walls the elite live lavishly to distract themselves from the horrors of the Epidemic, while the poor aren't so fortunate.

Amidst the chaos the Lord Regent is murdered in cold blood and the crime is blamed upon the disgruntled common folk. Though some claim he was killed by something more dangerous still.

And there are whispers in dark places that some new terror lurks within the city. Preying on the weak and consuming the innocent.

Lieutenant Luther Stone of the Imperial Police Force is charged with keeping peace in the city and investigating the Lord Regent's Death. Who he meets and what they accomplish depends on who'd like to play!

The corpse had been brutalized, the room was a chaotic mess of blood, spilled parchment and shattered furniture. Bloody handprints were everywhere and someone had painted "Death to the Highborn" on the wall. The finishing touch had been nailing the body to a rough wooden cross and all anyone seemed to care about was when they could have the office space back.

Lieutenant Luther Stone stood amidst the carnage his smart black coat open and his three pointed hat askew he looked more like the officer of a ship than an officer of the law. He kept a simple sword at his hip and a single shot pistol in a holster beneath his arm. His blond hair was cut unfashionably short and his inquisitive blue eyes were rarely still.

He walked toward the now fly covered corpse of Nathaniel Hardin the late Lord Regent. He'd been a irritating, overly talkative man with a nervous laugh and talent for numbers. He was competent and respected if not well liked. Until someone had seen fit to smash his skull in.

"Lieutenant?" It was O'Neill his assisting officer on the scene.

"Yes? What's that?" He realized he'd been ignoring the other man's questions.

"I asked who could torture a man like that"

"Any number of lunatics, but I don't think this man was tortured there isn't enough blood on the secondary wounds I think they killed him and then tried to make look as though he been tortured"

"Why would anyone do that?"

"To point blame in the wrong direction"

"Fuck me, it's going to be one of those ain't it?"

"Aye, I think so"
