New to board, my name says it all.

Healthy male with strong Christian beliefs as well as a strong sex drive and imagination!

Being a Christian with a very high sex drive is NOT an easy balancing act at all!

It just depends on where your sex drive leads you. If it remains within the marriage, then there seems to be no conflict.

Is someone really having sexual fantasies about their spouse? I would think that unless that person's religious beliefs restrict sex to just the missionary position that those fantasies could be taken into reality with a spouse.

Good morning struggle. Not going to lie, i have the same issues, constantly leaving and moving to this site fighting myself.

Same here.
I've been inactive here for long stretches at a time but their are times when sex drive goes into over drive and I'm back on.

First reply. Thanks for helping me pop my cherry!

So do you feel your sexuality/sexual desires are a part of you? A part of your personality? Are you ashamed of them?

It's confusing to me why people would decide to have a belief structure that makes them unhappy with certain aspects of their lives. It seems to me that, as long as the desires/behaviors are not negatively impacting yourself or others close to you, why should you feel bad about it?

However, I do understand tradition and ethics are a strong motivator as well.

I'm a closet agnostic. Have to keep up appearances for the world. Perhaps that makes me a hypocrite as well. Fair assessment.
