Well, I can't find it. I know what the red "H" and the green "E" mean next to a story, but I just encountered a story with a green "W" next to the title. Anybody willing to fill me in on what it means? Thanks,

Just a guess, but I suspect it's a contest winner.

You are probably right. The story I noticed was in Non-Human, titled "Confined to Eternity."

Definitely right. When yyou float the cursor over the green W, it shows the alternate text of "Contest Winner"

Thanks for reminding me - I need to add that to the FAQ! A greeb W means that story was chosen by readers as a winner in one of our monthly or theme story contests.

Well, I'm glad I got that cleared up before midnight. I wouldn't want to go into the new year without knowing the true meaning of the mysterious green "w." I checked the few stories I have posted and noticed I don't have any green "W"s -- also no green "E"s ---- no red "H"s ----- sigh...

Now if I can just find out why the word "virgin" appears under my handle on these posts, while others get fun things like "opinionated old fart" or "Seraphically Disinclined" or "Ms. Whisker Face." I checked my profile, and I never said I was a virgin. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'm not. Is there a blood test so I can know for sure? Maybe I'll ask my son.
