Aerin is a charming young boi around the age of 25. Hys body is sleek like a cat with a golden olive complexion to it. Hys brooding eyes are a rather stunning shade of green. Hy's not particularly tall, somewhere around 5'5 and of course he looks like a male, not one of his own age though, rather one in his very late teens or early 20's.

Serena is a normal twentiysh american girl with a semi pale complection for she can't really stay out in the sun to long at time without sunscreen for she would burn to a crisp. She has dark blonde hair like it's being grown out from something she tried to do with a bottle. She stands at about 5'4 maybe 5'5'' if she is lucky and is of average weight. She has curves where she should though she sometimes likes to hide this fact with clothes that are a bit loose and other times she chooses to flaunt what she has it depends on her mood. She has striking hazel eyes and if she catches your gaze it's like staring into a deep pool of water.

Picture this... a walk along the beach while looking up at the coastline, the bright white houses set into the side of the mountain, and to the right the vivid blue ocean. The air is crisp and salty, the breeze is cool, and in the background you can hear music and joyous singing from someone's celebration.

A lone person traverses the beach away from the festivities. Hys white light clothing seems to glow in the reddish pink hues given off by the last hours of light. Hy stops a moment and looks out over the ocean. Hys loose white dress shirt flaps in the breeze and reveals his clingy white tank top. Hy is also wearing a pair of tight fitting cutoffs and nothing on hys feet so that hy can feel the water as it laps at his toes. Hy takes in a deep breath and holds out hys arms as hy relaxes in the increasingly quiet moment. Hy starts walking again, heading further still from the activities toward a more quiet cove where hy can and think.

Hy perches hymself on a rock and stretches out, laughing at hymself for coming to such a lovely and romantic place by hymself. Tomorrow is hys birthday though and hy would rather spend it alone in a strange town than alone in hys own home. Hy sighs a bit closes hys eyes as hy tries to block out memories, some painful, some wonderful. Hy just doesn't want to remember anything right now.

Serena stands on the trail looking down over the beach taking in the sunset and all the glorious colors as well as the sounds and the scent of the sea. This is her favorite time of day and her favorite place to be normally she would be down along the beach yet the spot was taken by a lone male. She thought of going down there yet did not want to intrude for just by his apperance he looked like he'd rather be alone.

She stood there watching him for several moments trying to decide if she should go down there or not. She had seen him once or twice before as she'd been doing normal tourist things. She still couldn't believe she was here in this marvolus place it was her trip of a lifetime. She gazed at the water and tried to forget how she came to come on this trip.

She finally braced herself and went foward lifting the hem of her dress so it wouldn't get wet in the surf she needed to feel the water on her toes so she would remember that she was in this world instead of in the next where she sometimes wanted to be. She walked up along side the boy she decided he looked more boy then man from his appearance. She stopped beside him and looked into the sea. "So what brings you to this place?"

Aerin opens hys eyes and looks at the attractive full figured woman standing near hym. Hy tilts hys head and looks at her curiously. "I've come here this week every year of my life, or at least I think so. Though my trips here are increasingly quiet and subdued. But this particular day I always come to this cove to think about my life." hy says in a soft, yet flat voice. Hy watches her a moment, trying to figure out what brought her to where hy his since there are miles of coastline to walk. Hy sucks in a breath "How about you?" hy asks rather anxiously as hy tries not to look at her too much.

Serena gazed into his eyes as he opened them and she smiled as she listened to his answers. She kept her gaze on his face not wanting to be unpolite or anything. She gave him due attention. Yet in his voice she heard loneliness and an aching for something. She smiled a bit. "I'm on the vacation of a lifetime. I've always wanted to be here so here I am." she says in a soft tone trying to keep it light and keep emotion out of her voice. She gazes back up the beach a bit then over her shoulder at the little villia that hosts guests. "I come down here every night to think." She finally lets herself take in how he looks and there is something there that is familar to her yet she isn't quite sure.

Aerin looks away from her as she speaks, but not in a way that would show her disinterest. Hy nods his head as hy listens to her then turns hys back to her face "Sounds like fun, or sounds like it is supposed to be at least." Hy drums hys fingers on the rock for a moment as hy tries to figure out what to say to her. Hy doesn't have the best social skills, what hy is has made hym a loner most of hys life. Hy sees hymself as an outcast.
"So.... How much longer do you get to stay here?" hy asks, then mentally kicks himself for sounding hopeful. Hy has no idea where that came from and hy quickly tilts hys head back to look up at the sky -you idiot, what are you thinking?- hy thinks to himself, berating hymself for thinking that hy might have found a friend.

Serena takes the time when he looks away to study him trying to decide if she is correct or not. Though she doesn't dare get her hopes up on this for she has the feeling that if she does she would be wrong. "It is supposed to be and I'm working on that." she says quietly. She watches him a moment and has come to a semi decision that he is more then he seems to be and she shall leave it at that for the moment. She smiles a bit. "I've been here 3 days already so that would mean I'm here for 29 more days." She gazes at him again then goes back to watching the water a moment trying to clear her mind and think of the good not the sadness that has been creeping through her life.

Aerin finally watches Serena's face and eyes as she speaks "I am sure you will have a delightful time, this is a wonderful place to be, even alone..." he pauses a moment to let her finish what she was saying "29 more days huh?" hy asks softly as a chill runs down hys spine. Hy thinks that hy possibly detects a bit of curiousity on her part, and hy isn't sure if hy should be happy or wary of this. Hy finally raises hys right hand and extends it to her to shake "I'm Aerin, I'm here for an undeterminable amount of time..."

Serena smiles a bit and her eyes twinkle somewhat. "I will once I get my head together." she says quietly and she giggles a bit when he says what she had said. "Yes a 31 day vacation it's an odd number yet has significance I guess." she says softly her tone of voice flitting to the sad. She shakes that off real quick like and extends her hand slowly to his to shake it. "I'm Serena Spencer and I go by either name actually." she says quietly. "Though with in the past few weeks Serena is the winner." she says with a chuckle trying to mask what she is feeling with even mentioning that.

Aerin blinks and looks puzzled for a moment at her words. Hy shrugs it off though, hy's not going to pry. "Nice to meet you Serena, what a pretty name" Hy says softly. Hy notices her chuckle and the face of someone trying to hide something. Hy holds his breath a moment then slowly lets it out. Everyone has some sort of pain they try to hide. Hy wonders about the significance of the number 31. "So...." hy thinks a moment, trying to think of something to make them both loosen up "Have you had dinner yet? We could go eat and talk I suppose rather than looking at each other in the dark."

Serena smiles a bit and notices his puzzled look she tries not to smirk that always throughs people off for some reason. "Thank you I think Aerin is a sexy name." she says with a wink and a slight blush. She smiles more and contemplates explaining the 31 thing or not deciding to wait. "I haven't actually I was just begining to tell myself that I better eat something even though I'm not really hungry because I know better then not to eat."

Aerin blushes quite brightly at the compliment as hy releases her hand "Thank you" hy says softly. Hy thinks for a moment "Well, we could grab a gyro and some wine or something, doesn't have to be a 5 course meal" he says with a wink as hy gets up from hys rock. "Yeah... skipping meals isn't a good thing, but I do it all the time, not necessarily intentionally though. It just happens."
Hy stands there a moment, watching her intently. Hy thinks hy must be delusional, hy couldn't have possibly seen her winking at hym in that way. Hy shrugs it off for the moment and decides to just be as relaxed as possible rather than being hys usual shy self.

Serena smiles and blushes a bit herself when her hand is released and it tingled a little bit. She nods her head. "Sounds like a plan." She says quietly. She hangs her head a bit. "I've been doing that a lot lately and it is very very bad." she says softly.
She watches him as she starts to walk wondering the best place to go. "So where is the best place to go?" she asks softly as she'd not really done to much exploring she was getting over jet lag.

Aerin looks up at her and nods hys head "Yeah.... You really shouldn't skip meals, it slows down your metabolism." Hy watches her from time to time as they walk along the beach and then up the hill. "We will go to a place off the beaten path" hy says softly as they wind around the back allies and come to a hole in the wall family owned cafe. Hy smiles softly as they head into the cafe and the owner calls hym by name. Hy tilts his head and looks back at Serena "This is my friend Serena" hy says softly as hy guides her to a table to sit and the owner comes over to take their order "I would like a Gyro with no onions, a tossed salad with ranch dressing, and Baklava for each of us, oh and a coke and whatever she wants."

Serena walks along the beach following him. She giggles a bit as he says they are going somewhere off the beaten path. She looks around taking in everything having not been down along here yet. She tries to figure out what she wants. "I want a Gyro with no vegtables." she says quietly. "Um some fries if you have them with ranch dressing and a coke please."

Aerin chuckles softly and smiles as Serena orders her food "Good choices" hy says softly. Hy sits there quietly for a moment and wonders what to say to her. Hy's not the best conversationalist in the world and by no means good at small talk. Hy leans back in hys chair and sips on hys coke as hy tries to figure out what to say first "So, you have a story, everyone that travels seems to. Try not to worry so much about it. As hard as it may be you will have more fun if you can put whatever your pain is on the back burner, at least most of the time, set aside a time in the evening when you are doing nothing to worry about things." Hy can't help but laugh at hymself at this point, hy's one to talk. Then again.... Hy was doing just that, during the days hy had been traveling to the smaller town and just enjoying peace and quiet without worries.

Serena smiles a bit and watches him quietly. She wonders what they should talk about and what not. She can't help but laugh. "Yes everyone has a story and yes I do have one." she says quietly as she listens to the rest of what Aerin is saying. "I tend to push it aside and I tend to reflect on it at night on the beach then leave it on the beach." She says softly. She gazes at you curiously. "We could swap stories."

Aerin chuckles softly "You really don't want to hear my stories...." hy says with a sigh. "They are sad" hy looks out the window for a moment, seemingly lost in hys own thought "I lose friends when I tell my stories, so they are best told in private. But, if you are going to be my friend then I guess you should know. It's not like I can hide it from you or anyone indefinately anyways." Hy sighs again and looks back at her with a forlorned expression but smiles as the owner brings out their food.

Serena gazes at Aerin curiously and her mind begins to wander and wonder if he is what she thinks he is or not. She smiles brightly though. "You need not worry about that Aerin." she says with a bright smile. "And my story is probably better best told in private as well." she says softly as there food comes out. She starts to nibble on it slowly. "Besides if you are going to tell me what I have a feeling it could be you really don't have to worry nothing really phases me."

Aerin looks at Serena for a bit, quite stunned at the moment. Hy closes hys eyes for a moment then opens them up and starts eating as hy digests what was just said. Hy is still unsure of this, hy's not been very well accepted with the exception of one person, and she would got for any guy of hys type. Hy spent many nights alone while she was bedded down with another boi. Hy finally breaks the silence "Well, I guess after we eat we could go somewhere and talk. We can go to my place, I promise I'm not trying to get you into bed or anything."

Serena blushed a bit as she felt Aerin looking at her like that. So she nibbled on her food a bit more dipping her fries in the ranch dressing and offering one to Aerin. She blushes a bit then busts out giggling at what Aerin says. "That is fine with me." she says quietly then goes for the gusto and says something totally out of character for her. "I probably wouldn't mind if you did."

Aerin takes the offered ranch dressing dipped fry and it eats it with a smile "Thanks" hy says softly. Hy eats pretty fast, especially when hy is nervous. Hy finishes hys food and leans back in hys chair drinking hys coke while hy waits for her to finish eating. Hy hopes hys nervousness isn't obvious. Hys face and ears turn crimson at Serena's comment of "I probably wouldn't mind if you did" In response to hym trying to reassure her that hy's not trying to get her into bed. Hy has hys set rules about intimacy and has yet to bend or break them. Though for the right person or with the right persuasion that might eventually change. The rules are only there for hys own protection.

Serena covers her mouth with her hand as what she just said sunk into her head she has the look of I can't believe I just said that. She looks at Aerin is blushing bright red. "Um um." she manages as she takes a quick sip of her drink thinking she is not the person that goes to bed with someone when she just meets them. She finishes up her food quick like trying to think of something to say.

Aerin finally gets over being stunned by the comment and manages to laugh it off. "Well, I guess we shall see what happens." Hy looks at her for a moment then stands and pushes hys chair in. Hy walks up to the cash register and quickly pays for the food before Serena has the chance to even think about it, hy's the perfect Gentleboi of course. "Well, shall we go somewhere to talk?" hy asks.
