aside from that wanton hussy aphrodite, greek mythology is just packed with wonderful ideas for sex stories. any specific ideas?

I think I participated in threads about greek mythology twice.

So again: What about the Minotaur ? A monster with the head of a bull and the body of a man (but maybe he also has the cock of a bull).

Or a Centaur: half man, half horse ....

and I think there are some more ....

Zeus and Ganymede...of course one would have to make it clear that Ganymede was 18, just like everywhere else...;)

I've got a cute idea for Non-Human. (Why is it that greek mythology seem to inspire in that direction?)

There's the legend of Apollo, god of light, who fell in love with a nymph, Dapne, but she didn't want anything to do with him. He chased her, trying to, what, rape her? persuade her? "just talk to her"?

Anyway, she cried out to Mother Earth to help her escape this irritating suitor, and ME turned her into a laurel ;) tree. Since that day, Apollo wears a crown of laurel leaves on his head.

What if he found one little twig hole in the trunk of that tree, and before he took the leaves to make a crown, he put his own twig in the hole..?

I dunno. Considering the texture of most bark, it would give "rough sex" a more literal meaning than it usually has.

With all that sap as lubricant?

What's wrong with the Goddess of love?

Well nothing, just that she's so obvious. I was just hoping to inspire some ideas beyond that. I love aphrodite, she's my patron goddess. (and has she ever gotten me in trouble in my life, lol)

It'd be fun to write the story of Pasiphae and the Bull (the origins of the Minotaur), but it'd probably end up in the Extreme category.

Hmm ... wonder if Leda and the Swan would count, since it wasn't a _real_ swan, just Zeus in disguise.

Fate of a troop of warriors captured by Amazons?

WAGNER ...

... that's the answer: WAGNER.

The Nordics have much more interesting characters than those cissy Greek gods.

How about the Rhinemaidens with Loki?

Rhinemaidens? Is that what the Germans call our Scandinavian valkyries?

You gotta keep Scandinavian and Germans apart. Us Nordics have the aesir cult, and the vanes, like Tor, Loke (with an e!), Frej, Freja, Oden...

The Germans have their gods, like Wotan, Brynhilde, etc.

Mixing these two cultures up is like saying that "Venus and Aphrodite had a threesome with Zeus".

Scandinavian valkyries

I don't know all of the mythology, but that would probably make a good story. do you think you might write one someday?

How about the story based on Omir poems? For example- there is one interesting detail about the greatest greak hero - Ahileas. He, during the last year of the war for Troja, kidnaps one very beautiful woman - Brizeida, the daugther of one of trojan priests. But Ahileas didn't fuck her, may be because he is in a very suspicious friendshp with Patrokles - for their "friendship" tales and Omir. A story about the threesome Patrokles-Brizeida-Ahileas(bi, but not pure gay) sounds interesting.

Perhaps... little is known about the valkyries, as they always worked together in groups, and there's no individual valkyrie known in legends. Hey, that could be a base for a story, too! "Valkyries do it in groups"...

there's no individual valkyrie known in legends.

Except Brunhilde, and that was after she was kicked out. I'll bet Valkyries did do it in groups.

Brunhilde is the god's daughter in Wagner's operas, huh? Well, that's German mythology, not Scandinavian.

Sorry. If you're as far removed from your ancestors as I am, one tends to let things overlap. :)

Hmm, a twist on the Arachne legend? Athena binds her with her own weaving? Maybe puts the blunt end of that spear to good use? ;)
