greatest wrestler of all time?

The Crusher.

Used to watch him on Sunday mornings after church.

I don't know too many wrestlers. ;)

I'm not sure if he was the greatest, but I was so in love with the Ultimate Warrior.

My son got me started with this wrestling stuff. We have an old camcorder that he and his friends used to check their moves while they would wrestle.

Needless to say, since he had his hernia operation, I have confiscated the camcorder and his wrestling activities have been put on hold. lol

Ugh! Philistines!

How are we not mentioning the great names of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, or Gorilla Monsoon, or Bob Backlund, or The Junkyard Dog?

But, for my money, the best wrestler I ever saw was Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

Today

The best one out there today would have to be Rob Van Damm in my book. He was great in ECW and he has continued to develop in WWF. All time I would have to go with someone like Andre or Nick Bockwinkell. Later.

W-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

and this one too..........."To be the man, you have to beat the man........WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Ric Flair is/was always quotable eh Chuckus?

My vote goes to the late great Von Erichs, all of them except Michael. But my favorite one of them was Kerry. Talk about family tragedies.

Yes Lobito you are right about Flair

I grew up with Dusty Rhoads son (Dustin aka Golddust) and several of the others who paved the way for what we all now see as Wrestling..........both WWF and WCW stars.

The stories I could tell..........but I don't and won't.

A true grit guy from the early 80's - Magnum TA (aka Terry Allen) who was just coming in to his own and it was all taken from him in a terrible car accident. He is still alive and well, just will never wrestle again (serious back injury/arm injury/neck injury)

Black Jack Mulligan or Terry Funk...........the names go on and on........Roddy Piper?

Roddy Piper? almost as quotable as Flair. Not such a great actor either, if you ever saw that one sci-fi movie where I think he was a droid.

My favorites are too numerous to name. But does anyone remember Gorgeous George? The inspriation for Ric Flairs' character.

was kerry von erich the one that wrestled with one leg?

Yes. he lost a foot in a motorcycle wreck. He commited suicide after getting busted with cocaine.

ha ha ha Roddy Piper in "THEY LIVE"............ROFLMFAO......nice try Piper but NO BANANNA.

GG, sure I remember him.........what about Wahoo McDaniel or Olie/Arn Anderson or The Rock and Roll Express or Midnight Express?

Hell, how about the Road Warriors ............"eeeeeewwwwwwww WHAT A RUSH............"

I grew up around wrestling, when i was a kid I loved Flair, Dusty Rhodes and his "bionic elbow" Andre the Giant(hope there is a ring in heaven for him) and one everybody forgets..George "the Animal" Steele. Now, Flair is still great, but i don't watch much anymore so, i don't know who all is wrestling.

rick and scott s. the best tag team

No way, maybe one of the great tag teams but NOT the best (In my opinion of course)

L.O.D. RULZ man (and for the laymen that would be the Road Warriors......the real WCW/NWA ones, not the ones that McMahon tried to re-create using the LOD name)
