We only lived in Ridgefield for a year. I'm a southern California native, so when my husband got the opportunity to transfer to NV, I jumped at it. Anything to get back to the west coast! lol

It is pretty there, but the winter was way to harsh for me. I'm used to wearing shorts in February and gardening year round. Of course, I won't be able to do that in Reno (we'll get some snow here), but it's not as hard a winter as CT gets.

I know those winters here in CT all too well......they can
be nasty at times! Last winter was nuts! If I were in
your situation I would get out of CT to go to a
warmer place too!
