So strange. Today I got four notes telling me how wonderful my latest story is (thanks!). Then I got one that said, "Don't believe all of the negative comments."

Negative comments?

I went to the site and - BAM - three big bad comments about how awful I am and that I need to get therapy.

That said, what do YOU think of my lateest tale? Can you leave comments, good or bad?

Man, you weren't kidding, the kids either love it or hate it without much flavor in-between.

Being a man who doesn't fancy himself a friend of the shaft, I can't say your tale gave me that special tingle in my jingle I'm usually looking for, but it wasn't offensive, unless you're of a severely weak constitution. To quote Forest Whitaker in The Crying Game "It's Just Meat".

Onto the story itself, I thought it was very well written. It flowed nicely, and your use of language was both evocative and professional. If I were to offer any advice (from mine eyes, mind you) it would be to look at the dialogue. I felt the actions and descriptions were all apt, but the dialogue took me out a bit. Everything felt a bit too quick and on the nose, and even with an inner urge to munch the lunch burning in our hero's loins, I wasn't buying that he'd be brow-beaten into taking to the crotch in such short order.

As I said, just my take, and I tend to write my shit to death, so who knows. Anyway, keep up the tales of crass coupling for the enjoyment of some, and the whining of others.

Great Notes - Horrible Feedback

Fine story. I have my own theory as to what motivates such harsh feedback to humiliation stories. To express it here would be to lower myself to their level. Keep doing what you are doing - always trying to make it even better.

I posted a comment to the story but don't see it there yet. I think the nasty commenters identified themselves with the POV character, the humiliated man; interesting, isn't it? But basically, They Don't Get It; so you are not writing for them, are you? Or were you writing this for them? That would be VERY naughty, and a bit silly, and you should be spanked for that... ::grin:: Either way, just ignore them, and certainly do NOT think that a minority of them, despite their protests, masturbated secretly thinking of the scene...

I thought the story well written although not my favorite category; the thrill the protagonist felt from humiliation and cruelty and display was evident.

It is as much Non-Con as much as it is First Time, or even a subcategory of BDSM, but I honestly think the most appropriate category would have been Fetish.

I received the following comment on one of my stories:

"Are there actually people who read and write and this crap who get hard over it--If so you do not belong on the street."

If the person who left this comment and those who left yours are so offended by what we write then why read it in the first place?

We aren't forcing them to - they want to and then can't deal with what getting excited says about them......

Perhaps we should feel sorry for them

- or maybe they should take responsibility for their own actions and not blame us

- a bit like blaming doughnuts for those extra inches - when we have bought and eaten them....

Carry on writing and ignore those wankers - I am..

This is my 'favourite' feedback so far...

And then he bought a shotgun and shoved it up her stinking cunt and pulled the trigger. He invited the guys over like she was making him and them slaughtered them too, the end.......makes more sense than the SHIT you write "Mistress" my motherfucking ass, I'd make them pray for me to finish them off.

Personally I find it hilarious.

I saw nothing wrong with the stories. lol. Those anonymus commenters are annoying though; always have to be snarky and mean. I had one complaining 'cause my character is 27 and still says 'Daddy'. lol. I figure, if that's the worst that's said, then I can't let it bug me.

They just have nothing better to do in their lives and have to make everyone else miserable, too.

You really touched some buttons. Is this non-consent/male story common in the reluctance genre? You might have had some un-wanted readers and really set them off. I'm generally not a big believer in removing negative feedback unless it's hurtful to others, but that last comment was hard to choke down. Just for your fan's sake, I hope you consider removing it. Don't feel guilty about doing it either.

Like the others, I thought it was well written, and not worthy of the negative feedback it drew.

Don't let it get to you.

The most noticeable thing to me is that a Brit wouldn't say faggot. To us a faggot is a meatball (a foodstuff).

Other than that it's pretty unbelievable, but certainly not offensive.

a NEWBIE perspective

I personally liked this story. I think you either get into the humiliation and the the idea of being forced and liking it or you don't.

The main thing that maybe a lot of negative views of this may have was that it portrays people of homosexual persuasion as being needed to be "forced" by straight people into coming out? I don't know.

This seemed like the person actually really and thoroughly enjoyed the attention and was not too undone, in fact he seemed adequately "read" by his former lover and satiated.

And here is the crux of the matter. It is fiction, it is a fantasy it is what we dream of but may never happen.

I liked it and it was well written.
