Hey everyone,

I started posting here while in college, so I figured it would be appropriate to share my graduation with you.

Graduation has been the best and worst of times in a sense for me. Its great to finally be out of college and get into the real world, but there are many aspects of the college lifestyle I am definitely going to miss. I also had a nervous breakdown slightly before graduation, and started to go a little schizo. I started seeing a shrink and pounding zoloft instead of keg beer, and I got on my feet in time to have a great Senior Ball (picture included).

Now I'm living in the big apple with the 'rents and it ain't nothing pretty. Oh well, I've crushed larger inner demons.

Another reason I am posting this and putting my picture up, probably for a limited time only, is because I really appreciate you guys. Although I have a funny way of showing it sometimes, you guys have been my only support system during some tough times, and I really fucking appreciate that.

Revel this moment pervs, this is the only time you'll ever see me soften up.

(ok, someone show me how to post a picture, everytime i try I get a message saying that the picture is too big, but i know it isn't. Whats the dillyo?)

Congratulations!

College just isn't college without zoloft.

I don't know the fine points of posting pics, are you using the img tag thing up top? That worked for me.

Thanks, yeah, I didn't know so many people were on the damn stuff. I gotta tell you, I'm not totally impressed with it. I can't drink or get my dick up, yet somehow I'm not depressed. I'm not sure when I was better off.

Anyway, I could use the image tag, but I'm not sure what the simplest way of getting the pic of my hard drive and onto the web is. And I call myself a computer nerd, this is pathetic.

what size is the pic? did you try posting it on the thread?

Lit will bitch if the picture is greater in size dimensions than 800x600, or if the picture in bytes is greater than 102400 bytes.

Right click the pic on your hard drive and look at the properties sheet. A mouseover usually gives you the same information.

i run into this same problem posting to the pair of pic threads i started all the time. Try something like Photoshop for detail and use MS Photo Editor for the quick fix.

Woohoo, Marquis!

Congratulations and welcome to adulthood.

Errr that doesn't sound as enticing as I had hoped.

Resize the pic to 150x150 pixels and then use the image attachment option at the bottom of a post.

I hope this helps.

T ... is he trying to create an avatar or just attach a photo?

This is too frustrating for words, is there anyway I can email this picture to someone and they can do this for me?

Oy Vey, I'm taking this whole "accepting help" thing too far.

Congratulations, Marquis!

And, yes, I must agree with Netzach, you are quite the dish!

nods in agreement to all of the above.

I can totally relate with you as I had a nervous breakdown in my grade 12 year. Sucked, but the doc and his paxil did not help - only to expose my panic side of the anxiety disorder. So yeah, usually it helps to have a change of environment - change something that is really hurtin' and then move on. That's how I am recovering. I'm still recovering.

I appreciate the compliments and concern guys, but I think (hope) I got my act together for the most part.

Now just to find a job, a girl and an apartment and I'll be all set.

(did you get to spank that girl?)

Unfortunately not. Zoloft's side effects were already well on their way by the time that picture was taken.

I'm dying to know, have I ever met any of you in r/l before?

I just found out the most bizarre shit about my family. Consider my sanity to be in remission.

This is one of the things I hate about contemporary psychology and relativism.

Guy comes into the office, lost job, wife in plane crash, has a profound alcohol problem, mother's got pancreatic cancer and 2 months to live...

let's give this individual some good healthy coping strategies for his reality, shall we?

It's always us and our perception. No one's ever got a fucked up life according to the professionals. For me it was truly necessary for someone in my life to say "hey, that's fucked up!"

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
