If you think privacy settings on your Facebook and Twitter accounts guarantee future employers or schools can't see your private posts, guess again.

Employers and colleges find the treasure-trove of personal information hiding behind password-protected accounts and privacy walls just too tempting, and some are demanding full access from job applicants and student athletes.

1. Don't post anything on the internets you want to be private.

2. Don't put yourself in a position where you have to go hat-in-hand to someone else for a job or benefit.

When the Nazis find nuthin they assume youre too clever, and no one wantz clever.

They want scared and docile and cheap.

Seriously? That's outrageous, and I hope the American people, and others if this international, will stand up for their rights to keep their private lives private. I personally have nothing to hide on my Facebook account, which I rarely even look at, but I certainly wouldn't want anyone to have access to this account.. and if they gain the right to Facebook, what's to stop them from gaining access to all online accounts?

You don't have to give them access, only if you want a job.:D

Before I retired the local sheriff solicited me for employment. Employment screening involved intelligence tests, a lie detector test, psychologist interview, back ground checks, and a demand from me for 40 years of employment history with EVERY name, address, phone number, supervisor, etc. I told the lieutenant who approached me, to kiss my ass. My 1st employer's been dead 40 years. Most are outta business long ago.

Well, I can understand all that being necessary for a position of authority. Maybe we should demand the same for our politicians, especially the psychiatric review.

But it doesnt cull the crazees; my sheriff captures psycho deputies almost every week. They sell drugs or buy drugs or screw teen girls or beat their wives or come to work dressed like women.
