In the new world order, corporations control the political agenda.

The consumer mob is placated by the symbolic gesture of witholding advertising budgets.

Instead of having a Vote, consumer citizens answer corporate polls.

Discuss.

The "New World Order" is in the process of collapsing.

The advertising dollars being spent by the various corporations will eventually sort themselves out. The truly 'woke' concerns aren't fairing all that well regardless of how they spend their money.

As an aside I fully understand why Ford/GM/Chrysler would pull advertising from Twitter and it has nothing to do with 'wokeness.' It's based on the fact that Musk also owns Tesla and Tesla is a competitor so they're taking a 'wait and see' attitude. What's interesting about that is that Tesla's advertising budget borders on zero. Musk has successfully marketed the brand by free press and word of mouth. In that regards Twitter can hardly be accused of favoritism towards a company that they don't, and never have, done business with. But their caution is not without reason and all it will take is for one of them to come back for all of them to come back.

Advertising money usually goes where the fish are, so chances are the Apple users are leaving Twitter in numbers large enough after offsetting Revenue from the App Store for reduced Twitter downloads for Apple to virtue signal with an unofficial redirection of ad spend.

Ahh, the Apple Apps store. It's seems that Apple is up to its neck in anti-trust suits over that and from what I've read deservedly so.

Don't know...but Google Play and Apple App stores each get paid by Twitter.

A high tide lifts all boats.
