Take the unemployment numbers coming out on Friday.

No doubt fewer people are working, and less jobs were created, but the unemployment rate will fall because the pool of job seekers dropped. That is, the pool of people willing to work part-time for less money and no benefits dropped.

At this rate by the end of Obama's term no one will have a job and unemployment will be 0%.
