OOC: Starting off by setting the initial scene. Please keep OOC comments to a minimum on this thread - or place them in the Gotham City : OOC thread elsewhere on the boards ( http://www.literotica.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=22010 ). Thanks.

Another typical dark night in the city of Gotham - but, up towards the rooftops, high above the smog-filled streets below, where the sounds of the steadily quieting night traffic echoed upwards... things were just beginning.

A flash of movement - and a figure darted across a ledge, seeming unworried about the long drop that lay below her, coming to an abrupt halt in the shadows besides a large window.

She hugged against the wall as the beam of a flashlight cut through the darkness within - a security guard doing his rounds of the building, the Gotham Museum of Art and Antiquities.

Her target lay within the room at which she was poised herself now to enter - the Tigers Eye, an emerald the size of her fist.

The security system had already been disarmed, thanks to a grudgingly agreed associates 'help'. Now all she needed was a little luck, and a lot of nerve. And, in the case of this - far from common - thief, she had nine lives worth of each...

CatWoman

I pressed myself against the wall, waiting for the beam of light to pass. A smile creased my face and I knelt down, balancing myself on the beam. A suction device placed on the window and the use of my claws, removed a section of the window big enough for me to squirm into.

No alarms sounded and, except for the echo of the guard's footsteps, silence surrounded me. It was amazing what a little bit of bribe money could do. I wondered if anyone had an idea how corrupt the Gotham City Police really were. It wasnt criminals like myself and the Joker that people had to worry about-they had much more problems internally.

My breath drew in sharply as I thought about the Crown Prince of Bad Jokes. He was the reason I was here now-lives depended upon my pulling this off and I had no intention of letting anything get in my way. Not even...HIM.

Finding a beam above the jewel I had come to 'liberate' I slung a grappling line over it and tied the other end to my waist. Swinging down until I was hanging over the glass encased pedistal, I got a close look at my prize.

It was beautiful. The emerald glowed underneath what moonlight peirced through the clouds and lanced into the building. My mouth almost watered as I reached down to the casing. I was so close...so close...

Batman

Looking from high atop the Gotham city church, I can see Catwoman as she slips into the museum. I smile to myself, glad that my gut feeling paid off.

Grabbing the grappling hook from my utility belt, I fire it sending the hook flying through the night sky. As the gun runs out of line, the hook wraps around the top rung of the fire escape and I leap from the building. The wind catching my long black cape, causing it to flow out behind me as I land on the ledge that Catwoman used to get into the building. Quickly flicking the line, I reverse the guns direction, and the line rolls back into place. Without taking my eyes off Catwoman, I put the grappling gun back in place and get the bat laser out and cut a larger hole. Placing my hand through the hole already there, I pull it out and quietly place it on the ledge.

Moving in, I slide behind her as she reaches for the gem, my blue eyes gleaming from behind the dark mask.

CatWoman

I had cut away the glass and had the gem in my hand. Seems like tonight was going to be a good one. I was just slipping the gem into my bag when a sixth sense caused me to turn around.

There he was-the man who haunted my nights in more than one way. Well, this is one caper I could not let him foil. If I did, four innocents were going to be hurt and I couldnt allow that. Besides, it would be bad for my reputation if I let the Dark Knight take me down-again.

Reaching up to the rope that was attached to the beam, I started to shimmy up towards the ceiling agian. "Sorry, Bats," I said to him with a cheshire cat grin,"Maybe some other time. This kitty doesnt have time to stop and play."

With that I scurried up the rope and onto the beam. Looking over, I locate the window I had just come in and I make for it with all haste.

Mr. Freeze

OOC; Man, do I have an addiction to ice. I really wanted to be Volcana (the pyrokinetecist from "Superman") But can't because the ice man is still around.

IC; Victor listened intently to the word on the street from his flunkies. Though shivvering, they respected and feared their icy boss enough to speek clearly and bear the sub-zero temperatures.
Aparently, the Joker was planning something big, and 'hiring' other super villans to help. However he plans to do it, it means that a certain bat will be unavailable to thwart his next attempt to gain funds for his research.

Suiting up, He explained the heist to his men. It was simple enough, stop an armored truck across town from the Joker crimesneenes, Break open the door and leave with the loot. The bats and cops will be detained elsewhere so noone would get hurt or arrested.
Though freeze was considered a villen, He wasn't evil. His goal is to find a cure for his wife Nora. His men, though sometimes cynicall, are loyal, and Victor treats them well. Funds however are drained from his research, and a new souce of income is needed, so flaunt the day and don't let a good opportunety go to waste.

Seeing that Catwoman is heading for the window, I reach into my trusty belt and pull out a small homing device and throw it at catwoman. As it fastens securely to her boot, I charge after her but she reaches the window just before I do. "Catwoman stop!" I shout to her, but she drops a small smoke bomb that fills the edge of the room with a thick fog.

Feeling my way out of the museum, I make my way back to the bat-mobile and start it up. "She better not think she can escape me that easy." I mumble to myself as I start the tracking computer. Seeing the faint beep I swing the car around and floor it, causing a jet of flame to flare out the back lighting up the street behind me. I race after her, determined not to let her get away.

CatWoman

It didnt feel right. It had never been this easy to get away before. He was trailing me and I knew it. He had too many tricks up his sleeve. Well, time for a surprise.

I lept from roof top to roof top until I found one that was in the shadows. Looking around to see that I was alone, I quickly ran my hands over my suit. He had done the 'bell the cat' method once to often.

"Aha!," I thought in triumph as I pulled the homing device from my boot,"You need to get some new tricks, Darlin'"

I was about to smash the small bug underfoot when a thought hit me and I couldnt help grinning. The guy had worked so hard tonight-it would be a shame to have him go away empty handed.

Reaching into my belt purse, I grabbed a pen and paper. Always be prepared was my motto. I know-stolen from the Boy Scouts. But Hey! I was a theif!

I scribbled a note down that would lead him to my destination but, hopefully, not until I could make my deal and leave with the kittens. If I was lucky, he would come in time for me to get away with the jewel and the little ones while Joker kept him busy.

The note read:

Sorry, Tall Dark and Dangerous-the Cat got away but my card is full tonight. Dont worry we can dance again some other night. Til then a purr from me and a grin and giggle from my dance partner.

If that didnt point to the Joker I didnt know what would. It wouldnt take him long to know what I was talking about. Maybe a little longer to figure out Joker's hiding place but, by then I would be long gone and with my prize to boot.

I slid the note along with the bug under a cloth that was on the roof. Literbugs-gotta love em. And took off over the rooftops again. I hoped my little love letter hadnt delayed me enough for Batman to catch up but, either way, I had business elsewhere.

I follow the trace to an old abandoned building, where the signal stopped moving. "Ms. Kitty seems to have gotten quicker to discover my tricks." I think to myself as I stop the bat-mobile and proceed to the roof top.

Searching around, I find the beacon attached to a note. "Sorry, Tall Dark and Dangerous-the Cat got away but my card is full tonight. Don't worry we can dance again some other night. Til then a purr from me and a grin and giggle from my dance partner."

"Hmm it sounds as if Catwoman is in with the Joker, I had not heard that he had escaped Arkum (sp?) ." I thought as I darted back to the bat-mobile. As I get in, I pull up the records on the Joker, and discover that he had escaped earlier in the evening. I drive around the city, as I have Alfred search on the computer back in the bat-cave, both of us looking for a clue as to the Jokers hideout.

CatWoman

There it was, just like he said. An old abandoned joke shop on 22nd. How predictable-and he wondered why Batman was able to catch up with him so quickly.

I was on the roof of a building across the way from the joke shop, surveying it before I went in. If I knew the Joker-and I did-he would have some tricks up his sleeve and waiting for me. Of course he was probably waiting for me to pull a few tricks of my own and I surly couldnt dissapoint him.

I smiled as I thought about Batman finding my note right about now. I had to hurry or else I would be caught in my own devious trap.

Dropping onto the roof of the joke shop, I looked through the sky light. Nothing-it looked like a deserted shop just as it should. But I could hear my furry friends mewling somewhere in there and I wasnt going to let them down for much longer.

Taking my suction cup and claws, I made my way through the skylight much as I had at the Art Museum. Soon I was on the ground, in a crouching position, waiting for Joker to make the next move.

Harvey Dent, one of the prominent D.A. lawyers in Gotham. A true leader of good will and justice.
Two-Face, a criminal. An evil mastermind bent on the corruption of Gotham, and more importantly the destruction of Batman.
Two men, both prominent in their fields of work.
Two genious at their own games.
Two faces, one of evil, the other of justice.
Two men.
Two-face.

Two-Face looked out over the city. Another night, another time. The darkness.
Darkness was equality. Day got it's time on the earth, but after it was over night came. Without night, there would be no day.
This is the way it was, this is the way it's supposed to be.
"So, we goin' boss?"
Two-Face reaches into his pocket, taking out a coin. One double sided coin, one side showing an unmarked face... perfect in it's profile. The other side shows a face that has been scrached, scarred, marked, unperfect, equal.
He flipped the coin.
The marked side showed back at him.
"Get the truck ready," his raspy voice called out. Justice would not be served tonight, but equality would.
That was the way of Two-Face.

NightWing

I looked down as Catwoman entered in a old joke store...i wondered what she had to do with the Joker, cause i likely doubted that was her place. I desided to wait for her to come out then try to catch her, than try to knock on the front door and get bombarded by guns.

The Joker

Within the boarded-up shambles of the outside facade, the old joke store wasn't in such a bad state of repair.

Catwoman's entry had not gone unnoticed, and she was the first of the current owner's expected guests this night.

With of a flick of a switch, the room was suddenly lit up by several bright coloured swirling lights, like some garish disco stage, revealing the old joke-shops interior. Harley waved and cried out "Hello puss!" over from by the switch.

The cat came back, it couldn't stay away I hummed, twirling a rubber chicken in one hand by its neck as I walked up to her. The cat cages had several more such bright yellow toys tied to them.

"Here pussy pussy" I laughed, holding out my free gloved hand and rubbing my thumb over my fingers, "The jewel, please."

I held a finger over the prominent red button on the rubber chicken's belly. "Betchya four kittens you can guess what this does?"

The Creeper

Leaping from one rooftop to the next, I begin to quickly grow bored as the night rolls on. Did the entire city just suddenly fall asleep or what? You would think that in a city like Gotham, I'd be able to find some spandex swimwear models to have fun with.

Just then, I cought a glimpse of a dark clad figure in the distance. "Looks like we got a peeping tom here. Wonder if he'd let me join?" I say to myself as I sneak my way up to the man.

Moving on my tip toes, I quietly approach the man when I realised who it was. With a goofy grin, I quickly place my hands over his eyes and yell "Guess who!?!" NightWing reacts on instinct with a swift back elbow to my side, followed by a leg sweep that knocks me down hard onto the roofs surface. He pins me down quickly, then lets out a sigh mixed with relief and annoiyence when he realises who it was.

"You know," I tell him as I try to get up from his pinning hold, "If you didn't want to play, you could have just said you give up." The masked man rolls his eyes as I begin to observe the way he had me pinned down. "Does this mean we're engaged now?" I tell him with a dorky smirk causing him to jump off immediatly.

Chuckling to myself, I ask him "So, I didn't think you were the 'peeping tom' type, NW. Mind if I join you?" Before he can answer, I pull a large scope out of nowhere and begin to look down into the area which he had just been watching over.

CatWoman

I hissed at him when I saw the setup. Just like I thought, he had something up his sleeve. Well, I had an ace in the hole too and I wished he would get here soon.

Taking the emerald out of the pouch, I held it up but away from his hand. "First the chicken in your hand THEN you get the gem. And if anything happens to my friends, your girlfriend has a rubber chicken dinner. Got it?"

I slowly lowered the gem as I reached for the switch in disguise. My eyes always on his hand and my mind screaming for Batman to break up this little party so I could get my things and scram.

Threatening to do Harley... oooh, that made me so nervous. I often wanted to kill her myself, not that I'd say anything.

"You know, I just love shiny red buttons" I laughed, stroking the detonation switch, "they're just soooooo tempting to press."

I snapped my fingers and held my palm up.

"Give it over, the jewel first, then you get to save the kiddies, mother cat."

CatWoman

"Fine!," I said as a smile creased my face. With at flip of my hand, the jewel went flying into the air towards the Joker and my whip was in my other hand. As he grabbed for the gem, I used my whip to grab the switch.

Then, as he bobbled about trying to get a hold of the gem, I summersaulted my way to the cages and the kittens. Slicing the wires that held the containers to the cages with my claws, I quickly grabbed the mewling animals and held them to me.

I was about to turn back to gloat to the Joker when I noticed that the yellow containers were emitting a gas. He had double crossed me! He had another button somewhere and he was trying to catch me with the gas too!

With a hissing growl, I did a few back flips to get clear of the gas. The kittens were not appreciative but they would be safe. Now to figure out what to do with my 'dance partner'.

I grabbed up the gem, and threw catwoman a wide smile.

"Don't feel like playing chicken today?" I asked. Nodding to Harley, I walked over to one of the shelves against the walls, my sidekick somersaulting over to stand beside me.

"Guess we'll have to call it a night then" I said, with a bow, as Harley pulled a hidden switch. The lights went out briefly, as the wall revolved, coming back on as we stepped out on the opposite side of the wall, before coming back on again.

"One jewel" I said, flipping the jewel and pocketing it into my jacket pocket.

"Check!" Harley called out.

"One caged cat - or should that be five? - for batbait" I said, looking at her with another wide grin.

"Check!" she replied, pulling another switch. Inside the jokeshop, bars would be springing up, blocking the various exits from the place.

If I step on toes, I'll edit

The name poured out of the man's mouth, I loved the way it dripped off of his tounge. His eyes wide in horror. My laugh rolled through the room, a seductive calling, a Siren's call. His lips, still flushed from my kiss.

He dropped to the floor, the look of lust and horror in his eyes.

Then he was dead. Shrugging my shoulders I waved my hand and the brilliantly colored plants engulfed them, a small green sprout weaved itself upon me, and I kissed it's blossoming flower.

The man upon the floor was no longer there. My tall boots clicked crisply on the floor. I knew the man had connections to the Joker, In fact, he told me he did. It wasn't a hunch. A little aphrodisiac of love and he was putty. But he wouldn't speak. I hoped I wasn't losing my touch.

My 5'6 frame was adorned in a green catsuit, how ironic, seeing as cats...I didn't like them, nor one named Catwoman. Finicky creature, and a damned DAMNED nuisance. Some had to 'let the cat out of the bag' and sure as hell WAS going to be me. My hair was woven with vines, my boots matched my clothing. I unzipped my top a bit more and made my way to find out more information, a green mist followed me, luring, tantalizing...seducing. That is when I saw the flutter of the cape. That black cape. Attached to that muscled wonder. Batman knew how to find trouble, and trouble always found the Joker...Maybe the night wasn't lost ...afterall.

CatWoman

I howled in anger and frustration as I saw the trap he had put me in. I rushed for the exits but the bars came down before I could get to them.

The gas was filling the shop pretty quick and I was going to have to get above it somehow or myself and my friends were done for. Looking around, I found a pouch that would hold all four of the kittens and, dumping out the contents, I placed them into it. I calmed them the best I could before taking my grappling hook out and throwing it up to hook on the bars over the skylight.

I had to get up high and the hole I had made for my entrance seemed my best bet to get away from the gas and to some fresh air. I scrambled up, holding my breath and was very relieved when I was able to gulp some fresh air through the skylight opening.

Despite my situation I couldnt help smiling. When I had told Joker I needed a few days to check out the security system for the Art Museum, I was lying. I had heard of the Tiger Eye and I had been casing the place for a bit before Joker's interference. It wasnt the security system I was working on but a good fake of the gem itself. I had commissioned it for just such a reason. Joker would find he didnt have the real thing soon enough and he would be furious. Not that it mattered to me. I needed to get out of here with all nine lives-make that forty-five counting the kittens.

Batman

"Sir, there are reports of power being routed to a joke shop on 22nd, a shop that has been deserted for sometime." Alfred reported to me. "What better place than that for the Joker to be hiding out." I say, slamming on the brakes, I sling the back of the bat-mobile around and hightail it over to 22nd. "Thanks Alfred, what would I do without you?" I ask, smiling into the monitor. Turning my attention back to the scene at hand, I race towards the joke shop.

Parking in a dark alley down the street, I run behind the buildings and see the gas cloud pouring out of the shop. Taking to the roof tops again, I see the gas flowing up out of a busted skylight. Not taking any chances I put my breather on and look down, seeing Catwoman trapped by metal bars. After cutting the bars that are closing off Catwoman's escape, I pull her out. "What's the matter Kitty, your dance partner cut out on you?" I ask, tying her hands together behind her back

Poison Ivy

(OOC...sorry, but can Ivy toss vines like batman his graveling hook? well...now she can , and if it is a prob. I'll edit.)

The caped wonder never glanced over his shoulder. Definately losing my touch.

Hearing the clunk and the screech of a heavy metal door, I heard him rev his engine and blast away in that metal wonder.

Sighing, I smoothed my hands over my hips and a small tendril of vine crawled from beneath my sleeve. I sent it through the window, sending shards of glass out into the street, I shimmied down it, jumping gracefully with the strategic placement of vines, I went towards the alley where my motorbike was placed. It screeched off into the direction my flying friend had headed. Parked in an alley.
No vallet parking? I threw my bike down and headed inside. Voices.
One belonging to a known batman...and the other....Catwoman.

My lip twinged with a sneer. Silently crawling up the stairs I stood in the doorway, how cute, It looked like the bat was playing with the kittie. Yeah well, HERE KITTIE KITTIE, Ivy wants to play.

I closed my eyes and tilted my head back, aphrodisiac eminated from my skin. I felt the poison luxuriously pulsing through my veins. Irrisistable.

"Just as you said Two-Face, ths joke shop is a bust. There's gas coming from the building, and Batman is here, I thought I saw a few other capes as well."
Two face nodded, setting the radio down. It was a nice try though, he would have to give his compliments to Joker next time he met him.
The lights of oncoming traffic barreled down upon them. Two-Face pointed to the off ramp. At least he knew Batman was on the other side of the city, even with that car of his, it would take him nearly a half hour to make it to the jewelry shop.
In the back alley, only a few cardboard boxes met them. The black and white van pulled up to one of the doors, as his men crawled out.
"Just like I planned," Two-Face spoke.
In a matter of minutes they had what they had come for.
Two-Face grabbed the bomb, and set it in the middle of the store.
"What's that for boss?"
"So Batman doesn't find out what we took."
The henchman looked around, "Why are we leaving so much of this stuff behind."
A smile rose to Two-Face's disfigured lips.
"We leave nothing to chance," he set the timer.
"But the coin..."
Two-Face grabbed the man by the neck, raising him into the air, "Do you want to stay behind and make sure this goes off?"
The man shook his head. They both got into the van.
The explosion shook the entire block, but the black and white van was nowhere around.

CatWoman

Batman picked up my bag and opened it, probably hoping to find the jewel instead of four mewling, squirming kittens.I had almost sawed through the ropes when I spotted a flash of green and a mist. Quickly breaking through my bonds, I started to scram. Then I looked back and cursed. Ivy was about to make the Bats her willing slave.

Why couldnt I leave well enough alone? This obsession with Batman would get me killed sooner or later. Oh, well, I had nine lives (or was that eight now) and he did save me from a permanent cheshire smile.

Whirling back around, I did a handspring that brought me straight at The Dark Knight. My feet hit him squarely in the chest and I had surprised him so that he was knocked down but not seriously hurt-too well padded. He was out of the way of Ivy's little cloud, however and I immediately did a flip that landed me between him and her.

"Change of music, Handsome," I said as I crouched down, claws out,"It's a girls choice dance and I have just found my next partner."

IVY, Poison...Ivy

I narrowed my eyes at Catwoman. She foiled my plans to take over Gotham, it would have been so peaceful covered in green, a luscious paradise...and now...she was going to feel rejection and failure. Batman is mine. Whether the intent of this mission was truelly to have Batman, no man could resist.

"But..." I cooed. "What if he doesn't want to tango?" I walked around Catwoman, Batman eyeing us both cautiously.

My boots clicked lightly, I ran my hand seductively over the green shiny vinyl that hugged my body. I walked up to Batman, the bag still in his hand. The auro and the aphrodisiac swirled around him, I ran my hand lightly over his collar bone. All the while sealing the escape routes with tendrils of poisonous plants. I would get my revenge. And my sweet satisfaction.

"Look at me..." I tilted his chin up. He struggled. I made the potentcy stronger.

CatWoman

A growl escaped my throat as I saw her paw at Batman.
"Doesnt look like you're giving him any choice in the matter. At least I dont have to use tricks to get a man."

With that, I swept her legs with my feet, bringing her down to the ground with a thud. Getting up, I pushed him away and I could see him shaking his head and trying to get rid of her 'perfume'.

"Go while you can, Bats," I said to him,"It's ladies night out and that is exactly where I am taking Mother Nature-out."
