I'm still going over a few ideas at the moment, before starting off with the thread proper. So far, the cast lineup looks to be the following...

Heroes:
Batman ......... Mackdaddy
Nightwing ...... Dirk
The Creeper ... Renegade

Villains:
Catwoman ..... Isolde
Poison Ivy ..... Lava Goddess
The Joker ...... Kepic (wait, that's me, isn't it?)
Twoface ........ Poohlive

To be (hopefully) confirmed:
Harley Quinn ... Celestial
Ms Black/Ms White (gangster molls for Twoface)
....................... intriguess and Merelan

Available heroines (we could do with some!):
Black Canary ... ?
The Huntress ... ?

I plan to put the main Gotham City thread in the Online roleplaying section. Any, ahem, more involved 'character interaction' I suggest should be done in seperate threads on the Sexual Roleplaying board, so the main storyline isn't skewered. Does that seem a reasonable idea to everyone?

If anyone has any suggestions, out of character comments, etc., please air them out and post 'em here.

I want to try and keep this up to more recent happenings in the DC universe (as if I'm up to speed... talk about web research! lol)... I believe Batgirl is now Oracle, confined to a wheelchair due to an 'accident', helping out Nightwing and the Black Canary with her computer whiz skills.

Everything sounds good to me, I haven't followed the comics in awhile either. Which outfit is he using? Grey with black cowl and cape, or the blue cowl and cape?

First, I want to thank you for the kind invitation. But, I must decline. I would love to play with this all star cast, but I have absolutely no idea what any of the characters are. I vaguely know Batman and Robin, and maybe Catwoman. But that's it. I even had to ask where Gotham was.

Secondly, I plan on lurking though, education purposes you know. Wink... wink...

Again, thank you very much, but I do not feel I would be able to give this one the justice it deserved. I feel honoured I was even thought of.

I've only just started getting into the DC universe myself - it's been a long time since I followed any of it (I've just discovered that Lex Luthor is now the president of the United States! yikes! wonder if the florida ballot took as long in DC?)

I've just started the thread - using the planned heist from the Bada Bing Club between the Joker and Catwoman (too good not to use).

Mackdaddy, I would suggest that Batman has been keeping tabs on the building - more than half expecting Seilna Kyle, Catwoman, to try and steal the Tiger's Eye...

Maybe later, sm, I don't want to throw too many crooks at old batty boy at once. Hopefully, we can 'revolve' them, one major caper showing up at a time. Why don't you pop into the Bada Bing Club and try out the role of the Riddler there first?

The Riddler relies alot on his riddles - come up with a good idea for a crime, and some riddles to go with it, and e-mail me, I'll let you know.

Oh you guys, I love the thread so far!! I think I've been afraid to post as Harley more because Kepic's 'Joker' is SO amazingly dead on and hillarious!!! I am always laughing after I read his Joker posts!!! I know a lot about Harley but wonder if I can even do her justice...I'm such a "Bat Girl" at heart. If you would like me to try and continue, I will, but if you think someone else can do her better, PLEASE feel free to tell me!

I can't find her bio, Ivy's that is...I have a great thought as to how to play her, but due to my lack of a comp the last day or so, I missed the chance to jump in the plot, need some help with her bio though....

Poison Ivy

Pamela Lillian Isley, 5'6", 110lbs, green eyes, chestnut coloured hair.

The seeds of Pamela Isley's madness were sown under the tutelage of Jason Woodrue,
a.k.a. the Floronic Man (don't ask me who this guy is, never heard of him before!). An unwilling experiment in plant/animal hybridization, Woodrue transformed Isley into a beautiful creature whose veins pumped toxins, while her skin exuded pheromones and quite literally drove men wild.

To support her own botanical whims and extravagant lifestyle, Isley began a life of crime, gravitating to Gotham City and an obsession with the Batman. Finding herself far too often incarcerated among Gotham's lunatic fringe in Arkham Asylum, Ivy escaped and secreted herself on a barren Caribbean island, which she transformed into a lush, verdant paradise all her own. Unfortunately, her secret garden was destroyed by mercenaries, which led Ivy on a trail of vengeance back to Gotham and Arkham.

Recently, Ivy attempted to turn the recently earthquake ravaged Gotham into a jungle of her own design, though her plans were thwarted by the Catwoman.

Ivy and Harley are good friends - she wants to break up Harley from the Joker, who she sees as a complete madman. They see each other as sisters-in-crime, united by their shared hatred of male domination in the criminal underworld.

She is an expert in botany - perhaps the greatest in the world.
