Got My Man-Card Back

Let me first define "Man-Card" - The ability of a man to usurp his manlihood through any means necessary, even by deceit.

Several months back I reluctantly gave up my internet connection (and the ability to share the erotic stories I 'so' love to write) to appease the wife. Don't think she hasn't been checking the monthly cable bill to verify the 'lack' of an internet charge <grin>.

But after I installed Windows Vista on my PC I discovered an unsecured wireless network <sniff> And I connected <sniff sniff> So here I am.

The sad fact is, those who read don't hang here, and vice versa for the most part.

FYI: Of course all the games I love to play won't work, so be careful.

Just out of curiousity why did you give up the internet? Why did she ask you to, and why did you agree? Also isn't an unsecure network also unsecure for you to?

The connection is probably firewalled...but doesn't require an encryption key...kind of like the connections at coffee shops and hotels...

Hmmm - don't think I'd ever qualify for a "man-card".

I'm not sure I actually want one. I imagine it would involve powertools - and they scare the hell out of me.

(Of course, I'm not referring to that kind of powertools... )
