This whore was 20 grand in credit card debt and over the past two months had been begging people to give her money. They have. Like 13 grand. Damned amusing. People are suckers.

Student loans and medical bills are something else entirely. Just a fact of life if you're not mega-rich. I myself have a good 20 grand in school loans to pay back, but I still wear clothes I had when I was 14, and I'm 23 now. Credit cards aren't forced on people, it IS quite possible to get by without them. A simple debit card is more than enough. If this woman were a mother, part of a family with children and were in debt to support her family, sure, I might toss her a few clams. What I'm getting from her page is she was Daddy's spoiled little girl who got cut off and now has to pay her own bills.

I do not have credit cards. I have never had a credit card. I have a debit card. Works like a charm and I cannot overspend.

I have NO debts. None at all.

No student loans. Never went to college. Never finished high school. (I wanted to but was in and out of a hospital my Senior year)

I have credit cards, but I pay any balance each month. I also save to make purchases and buy to quality. Then investing in maintenance saves money over the long haul. A guy could get rich that way!

Most people are just too impatient. We are trained to want everything RIGHT NOW. It takes discipline to overcome that, but currently, in our society, discipline is sorely lacking.

The only times I would go into debt would be in purchasing a home. Otherwise, rent is just pissing money away. Similarly education. If you know that a certain degree (or certification) will earn you enough additional money to cover the payments, then do it! Your money HAS to work FOR you.

She's not enslaved. Truth is, there's not a damn thing Mastercard can really do about it if she doesn't pay them back.

Nobody forced corporate America to loan her money at high interest rates. They made a bet based on their own financial self-interest. They're betting they can get rich of her, and people like her.

Funny how folks rail at debtors who get in over their heads, but don't think twice about the lending habits of corporations. I don't see how irresponsible lending - driven by greed - is any better than what she's doing.

If you believe that then I have some beach front land in Arizona to sell you. Eventually all such costs of bankruptcies/etc. are passed on to those consumers who do pay their bills. I would rather have someone else pay her bills than have to pay them myself - in short, better them than me.
