You wait, and you wait, and you wait... and sometimes, it happens.
If you're talking about feedback from readers, sometimes it never happens. This group doesn't seem to be much for commentary on stories. Votes you'll get - words you won't.
On the other hand, if you're talking about getting the story up in the first place, it's very slow for some reason. I waited three weeks for my first one, about one week for my second (presumably it's faster if you're already in the system).

i want to thank you for taking the time to reply to my question. i did get 1 feedback which came to my email, i didnt know they did hat so now i do. i was suprised my stories got posted in 4 days, i was thinking more like weeks like you mentioned. 1st place ? im not sure what thats all about but i guess i dont care for me it was the day that was important since the stories are of a day my lover and i spent together. shes very excited about them being online so much so that she cant wait to work on the subject matter for the next 1. that makes me verrrryyyy happy

What I meant by "first place" was that it takes a lot longer to get a brand new story approved than it does to add threads to an existing story.
It's good to know that it was only a matter of days - they must be getting better about it.

It really has more to do with when the website moderator/owner can get to read through your introduction post. My first story took a day the next couple were the same but the last one was nearly two weeks. If you look on the home page of Chyoo you'll see the date at the top in the welcome paragraph. If that date is current then chances are your story will be approved faster. If the date has wrong then your story will take longer to be approved.
