Gorsuch vs. Kavanaugh: Gorsuch prevails

A rare public spat between two toadies installed to the Supreme Court by the former guy was finalized in a written decision today. Gorsuch prevailed over Kavanaugh, 6-3.

A technical issue, to be sure, involving the former guy's Justice department playing word games with written law: an undocumented immigrant can have deporation proceedings legally cancelled if he/she can show he/she has resided in the United States for 10 uninterrupted years.

Unable to change that law, the former guy's legal henchmen declared a work-around: Any time an immigrant was served an immigration notice, the "clock stopped" legally time-wise. So the henchmen kept issuing notice after notice until the immigrant no longer qualified under the 10 year rule.

Gorsuch, Amy Covid Barnett (!!) and Uncle Clarence Thomas (!!!!) joined the Godless libruls in rejecting every single government argument that supported that extremist notion. Kegger Kavanaugh declared such legal shysterism to be quite the norm and got into a rare public spat with Gorsuch during oral hearings last year.

Gorsuch's opinion is now legally binding on every fucking federal court in the land: No more playing "time out" games with immigrants under any circumstances.
