Gore's Master Plan for 2004

I suppose after dealing with the idiotic, scared monkey look of George the Lesser, Al Gore has decided how to beat Bush in popularity contests. Gore has decided to go for the "distinguished gentleman" look. Maybe the beard somehow hides the smugness in his face. :)

Are you sure it isn't just a disguise?:p

He looks better but it won't help!

Al Bore has already vowed to shave before he returns to plague us. He's only coming back to try to upstage Daschle, Kerry, etc., but he couldn't even upstage Dukakis. He lost 2000 to himself.

And Bayh: Forget about it. Totally. He's anti-choice. He'd be a fool to consider it. His father was okay.

Nixon was a 2 term VP who had an election stolen and came back to win. He wasn't very likable either. I'm putting my bet on Kerry. But Hillary has been sneaking off to Iowa a lot.

Hillary will run in the next election

....and most likely will win. Probable the best thing in the long run for the country.

Can anyone guess why?

a repeat of the 1994 congressional elections?

Hillary

Look, I voted for her (it was a desperate attempt to stop Giuliani from laying waste to Washington). To her credit, she became the first woman to be elected to any truly high position in NY State history (talk about a reactionary, anti-democratic system/place).

But she's nothing special. She WAS Bill's bag lady in Little Rock, and she didn't even do that very well. Her med plan was so bad that even I didn't support it by the end. Bill was the brains and the heart; for whatever reason, he needed her, and she stood by him. She's been an ok senator so far (let's admit it's not that hard, and she's not stupid), but she's never done a thing that would make me consider her for president. And I forced all of my friends to vote for her last year. If it gives WriterDom a grisly pleasure to contemplate her presidency, fine.

For me, it's currently a question of that guy from North Carolina (whose name I always forget) if we want to win (JFK was the only non-southern Dem to be elected since FDR). Or Kerry, though he's crappy on privacy so far. or Daschle, whom I think is fierce & subtle, and is amassing a winning record where it counts.

I will fight vehemently against Gore, Lieberman, Bradley (who supported the contras and Reagan's first tax scam & budget).
