short version: google earth has a new feature, global awareness. coupled with this new feature is the ability to look at the sudanese region of darfur, site of what is widely believed to be acts of genocide. long version here..

commentary: things like this are why i love google. so do you use google earth?

Google Earth is great; I use it a lot. I just saw and heard about this new feature yesterday. Haven't checked it out yet though.

Somebody in one of my classes a couple years ago found it and I was hooked on it when I first used it. Google can do some fascinating things. One of my friends found a particularly interesting one: If you go to Google Maps, Get Directions, from New York, New York to Paris, France and look at #23 it's a hoot. If you have the time try it.
