I was awoken at 8am this morning by the phone. It was a man working for one of the 15 companies for which I applied for a job yesterday. He said that I hadn't specified WHICH job I was applying for, and while we were figuring it out - I was just out of bed! - he mentioned that he worked at the phone marketing section of the company. I said that I worked for a phone marketing company already, and I'd like to apply for another job like that, since the one I have is only part-time. He mumbled something about an inteview, but then changed his mind:
"I've read your resume, and I've talked to you over the phone now, so... when can you start?"

I start Monday.

I have 2 part-time jobs. Now I just need a third one, and I might get off social security!

Me and M and her kids went up there today on a minor shopping spree at the Dollar Store, and then went looking for the house where I'll work, so that I'll know where to go when I start on Monday - wouldn't want to run all over town looking for the place, being late on the first day, right?

Ridiculusly enough, the house is right next to the bus station - about 2 minutes walk!
That will make me feel much better about going to the bus after work in dark, late winter evenings!
