Goodbye Mr. Whipple

That makes me feel OLD. And sad.

Maybe I'll knock down display in his honor.

When the "Time to make the donuts" guy kicks off, then I'll feel old.

Still . . . fare well, Whipple. And watch your ass ;)

Even in Heaven . . . .

I wonder if he'll be buried in a big cardboard tube?

Or the attendees will TP the funeral home in his honor?

Will the folks carryin' his coffin be flushed?

Ok. I'll stop. :D

What terrible things to say, TE!

(Although, I like the idea of TPing the funeral home. Hey, why's it called a funeral home anyway? Not like anyone lives there)

Nope. But people are dying to get in. :D

Dick Wilson, Jesse White (original Maytag repairman), and Virginia Christine (Mrs. Olson) are all whooping it up in Rerun Land.

What about the Palmolive "You're soaking in it" lady?

ETA: found her. Jan Miner, who played Madge the Manicurist, died Feb. 15th, 2005.

WHAT?

Madge is dead?

Okay, I'm starting to feel old now . . . .

I think one of the things I liked about all these characters (particularly Jesse White) was that they just seemed like decent people. They seemed to be folks you'd want in your neighborhood. I miss them all.

And what about the Doublemint Twins?

Prolly in a nursing home.

They were really cute.

Now I'm feelin' old.

So many TV memories. :D

Mr Whipple reminds me of Weird Al - Dare to be Stupid

"You can squeeze all the Charmin you want, when Mr Whipple's not around"
