Thanks ya all. Still looking for a place. Getting my health back slowly. I finally know what it feels like to be able to breathe. Seriously. Even my dr was thrilled that just two weeks of meds have helped that much.
I sure do appreciate the hugs, thoughts and more. I think of you all a lot and miss ya's! I'll be back fulltime very soon I hope to bug the crap out of everyone!! *grins*

glad things are getting better darlin!Huge update....
I have been in my own apartment since May 20. I have a mattress set and a futon sofa. I also now have a computer which is how I am being able to update y'all on what's going on. I see a counselor every week to work through a lot of things, including what was happening over the last 8 years.
Today I meet with my former roomate in a very public space to sign some paperwork to get our bank accounts in our own names and not shared anymore. She says she is still holding on to my belongings until I can figure a way to get them. I refuse to let her bring them to me, as I do not want her knowing where I live.
I'll be making my way back into Lit/AH again slowly. Been quite awhile and i know i'll never catch up on it all. *grins*
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers and everything else. Wanted you all to know what's going on.

Angel, I am so happy for you that things are going where they need to be!! There are so many people thinking about you as you work out your new life.
I hope there will be at least one person in the "public place" whom you can rely on, just in case. Is your big butch dyke friend available? LOL
Keep us posted. And I WILL send you that e-mail I promised!!
I am realizing just how many people have been sending positive thoughts and strength to me these past few months. I am so grateful to all. As far as the meeting with former roommate, it went. No fireworks, but it was very uncomfortable and she made at least one statement that didn't sit well with me at all. Oh and there was a security guard who was sitting by the door. He's always at the Dr.s office. I think mainly because it is one side for doctor and other side for mental health and they have problems on occasion. So I felt safe in that respect. Great to hear the good news!
Welcome back!
Hope things continue to improve for you![]()

.

All the best Angel.
Have you considered having your stuff brought to a place common to both of you?. I realize it depends upon how much stuff there is, but it might be worthy of a thought.
Big hugs,![]()
It was a consideration but I had to say no for two good reasons.
The first being that i don't have everything in boxes and so I can't guarantee she'd find everything, like photo album and the like.
The second being that I don't know anyone at all to drive me to a public place and there is too much stuff for the city bus of course.
So more than likely next week I'll use my brand-new credit card from my new bank and rent a car that has unlimited miles and use it to get stuff and then to do shopping and other things I need to do to make it worth the nearly $60 for one day. The good thing is that it's Enterprise rent a car and they'll pick me up and then bring me home. Otherwise I'd be taking the bus there and then back.
Rent a minivan, angel...failing in that, an SUV...they both hold a ton of stuff and you'll get your money's worth. Also, rental car companies offer special weekend rates which are slow times for them...no business rentals.![]()
