Well, here I go. . . Surgery. big step but a long awaited one. for those who it matters to, I am leaving in about an hour for Lubbock TX to pick up my mother in law and then we will be staying the night and tomorrow at 5:30 AM, I go in.

For those who don't know, I am having gastric Bypass surgery. I weigh near 300 lbs. no one would guess, but I am in fairly constant pain and I sometimes can't be the person who I want to be because of it. So this is my last chance at saving my life from constant pain.

I really don't want anyone on here to berate my decision. It has been a really long time coming and I know the risks. PLease, just pray or send warm healing thoughts my way.

If any of you live in the Lubbock area and want to call or visit, I will be at texas tech university medical center and my name (for all those who haven't seen it yet) Darlene Pipinich.

Thank you all for being such lovely people and really enriching my life with your love and acceptance of my oft times odd countenance.

talk to you all when I am home again.

A prayer for the saftey and speedy recovery of a friend: (To those of you who don't like religion, skip this post)

Father, I pray that you look over Dar as she goes into this uncertain time. May you guide the hands of the surgeons and send your angels to protect her as she ventures into the care of others. May the recovery of her health be speedy and quick so she may once again insipre those around her and continue in her constant support and encouragement.

Lord, may you be with her now in her time of need to comfort and care for her.

I come into your gates thanking you for your constant presence in my life. I pray and ask now that you forgive me of my sins so that I may be presented pure by your blood and clean to request and commune with you. Father I praise your name for your Holy power and care. I know in my heart Lord that with you looking over a child of yours no harm shall come. Father, I lift this matter up to you and present it for your taking. Father I believe that you have taken this matter into your guiding hands and shall look over it and take care of it.

I no longer worry for the safety of Dar because my loving Father and His holy Son have her.

Dar...I'll be here when you get back, pain free and happy.

Much peace and happiness to your new life. :)
