As the New Year looms I figured now was as good a time as any to invite everyone to look back over the last 12 months and share their favourite parts with us.

Was it a thread that went amazingly well for you. Or perhaps writing a story you've always wanted to write.
Maybe it was finding a new writing partner that now you couldn't imagine not having.
Something from Lit or something from the rest of your life...we'd love to hear about it!

Celebrate new friends and old friends, remember the highs or even the lows.

What will you miss about the year that's coming to an end...?
(If anything :D)
And what are your hopes for the year ahead...?

Twenty minutes to go over here, but since I'll probably be too smashed by then to write legibly, thought I'd just wish everyone a happy new year now!

This year's definitely been incredible for me in many aspects, actually managed a good proportion of my resolutions, so 2015 has got a lot to live up to ;) I joined Lit after some hesitation, made some incredible friends on here, worked hard in my gap year to get into my first uni choice, travelled alone for the first time, learned to manage my anxiety, got back into dancing, FINISHED KNITTING MA SCARF YAY. Not so brilliant with the writing this year however, both on here and outside. One of my priorities for next year!

Ten minutes to go so I'll leave it there for now.

HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Woo hoo!!

Have to say, 2014 was a pretty awesome year for me.

It had some fairly horrendous parts, goodbyes and almost goodbyes that were hard, challenges to overcome...but it had so much good stuff too, both here at Lit and in the RW.

I managed to 'win' Nanowrimo 3 times this year! :D Helping me to take my writing a little more seriously and believe it might be something I could actually do...well...properly.

I watched my mini Brits grow into awesome little individuals with fantastic and very different personalities and I'm so unbelievably proud of them.

I have also developed my photography and am looking at photographing my first wedding as a 'pro' in the summer

I got to spend Christmas and New Year with my lovely family, including my Dad who we almost lost exactly a year ago. :rose:

The writing challenges went from strength to strength this year and I want to thank every single person who wrote or commented in 2014. It wouldn't work without all of you!!

I also got to make some brilliant new friends here at Lit as well as continuing to have the wonderful, awesome, terribly sexy and outrageously talented friends that I've been lucky enough to make over my time here.

For all the people here who know me, even just a little, I want to wish you all the very best for 2015.

Some, I know, will be starting it with a cloud either hovering over them or floating ominously on the horizon and as much as I wish I could blow it away for them, I can only hope it's departure will be in good time and that they can enjoy the sunshine in between the clouds.

To those special few, who should know who they are, I couldn't imagine not having you in my life. I'm ridiculously lucky to be able to have so many fabulous people to talk to and write with and be silly with and...the list goes on. Love you all.

And to the most special one of all... you already know :rose:

Bring on 2015, I'm ready!

I started off 2014 on such uncertain rocky ground, feeling a little confused. Nonetheless, as it progressed things steadily got better and better.

Sure there were a few bumpy patches ... I found myself saying goodbye to a old friend, and though it hurt I know it was for the best. I had to face fears in forging a new way ahead. It was pretty scary for a bit.

But thankfully there were some pretty dazzling bits as well. I found that I was stronger than I ever knew, and im learning to trust in my talents - and myself - more. I decided to commit more of myself to my writing, and it's a decision I definitely do not regret. I've made some amazing new friendships that feel like they've always been with me (You know who you are, I love you all soo very much:heart:); and make me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

I'm excited to see what 2015 will bring. I'm sure it will be an amazing ride, I can't wait!

Happy New Year everyone !!!

May the road rise up to meet you!

I have had a pretty rough year, the one year anniversary of my mother's death in January, in February I lost my God daughter to stillbirth and my best friend and i were broken hearted. We plan to do a balloon release this year on what would have been her first birthday.

I returned to Literotica, successfully completed my first year of my Undergraduate degree by passing all my classes. I started my own business which has since become quite successful.

We fought in court and won visitation of my stepson which continues to increase, we have gotten more visitation than ever before of my stepdaughter. We finally got our new 7 seater car which we have desperately needed for a long time.

My beautiful twin boys turned 2! I can't quite believe how much they have grown, they can now count to ten, sing their ABCs and other nursery rhymes.

James and I also entered couples counseling to help us to communicate better as all the stress has gotten the better of us. I hope that 2015 is better for us!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I'm not sad to see 2014 in the rear view mirror, though it was the year I stopped lurking and started writing more, so for that I'm very grateful.

I can only hope that 2015 will have less to be frustrated by and more to remember fondly. It's certainly starting out that way so far.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy new year.

I learnt that no one is indestructible and that there is a breaking point for everyone. Sometimes, even if it's only for a little while, one has to take care of themselves, otherwise they will not be capable of taking care of anyone else.

Happy new year.

I've learned you have to take care of yourself, because you certainly can't count on others to do it.
