I say he holds out just to torture you all. If you let him see the bets he can decide who will win. You must keep the betting private by coming up with a secret code for the dates you pick that everyone but Lasher knows. That way he'll never know who has what date picked. I am in no way insinuating he would pick a winner based on bias. I think he'd let you all lose, out of a nonbiased love of watching everyone trying to pick the winning date. Which is not to say he is an evil person...well...no, not evil.
Either way, I support a 1000th post pool, but just what will that post read?
