Good Morning you sleep deprived, beautiful lit addicts! Its Monday, the weekends over, the superbowls over. A long ass week ahead of us. Hope today goes easy on all of you. I, meanwhile, have a jury duty summons for today. I have to go do my "civic duty" and hang out in a room all day at the local courthouse. Hoping no one picks me and I get to go home.

Ah Jury Service.

I was on that recently, man if they were running a business for profit they would be bankrupt. What a fucking waste of eryones time!! I seriously considered finding some head honcho, giving him my card and saying "I can make this work better, much better, call me", course that would have taken balls.

GEtting out of jury duty is easy. When the judge asks if you can be unbiased and non-predjucial, simply tell him "no." And if he gets mad, simply tell him that he asked for your honest opinion and answer. Most likely, if you say this, you will get dismissed for "cause." However, you better be prepared to explain WHY you cannot not be unbiased.
