Thats why I try to make just one thread for the party favors of the weekend everyweekend maybe I should expand it into a cornicopia thread so that anything and every thing can be included on it to save some threads?

Some posts are meant to have some sort of validation when there is no need to, but yet so many post to them. I only usually post when I have something to contribute, there are people posting just for the reason of posting which gets ridiculous at times.
I agree that some people should only start new threads 2-3 times a day, otherwise people can and do get annoyed with that individual. I hope that more can be objective and understand what you mean. No one is getting attacked, just understand about others feelings on the board.
Party post are different yes some are silly but they aren't hurting anyone and I think all of us has done this at one time or another and it is usually just one post that they party on. So no harm is done on that.

I remember reading a similar post of yours right after I registered. It was good advice then, it's good advice now.
I don't know how many times I scanned the BB and logged off becase of endless "fluff" threads. Anyone looking for that kind of validation and instant gratification would probably find what they're looking for in the chat section.

I have to agree with you Siren. Even though I mostly begin fluff threads, rather than anything with substance. I just don't do it four times a day.

I did the dishes, put a load of laundry in the dryer, and another in the washer, now I am working on cleaning the toilets and well....sob....I thought I should let someone know....I feel sooooo used! Work....work...work....that's all I ever do....doesn't anyone care????

I might start two but I don't do it every day...it does get irratating. And I don't mind nonsense threads, but it is nice to have other threads sprinkled throughout the board. I don't always post on the serious threads but I do read them. Hi, my troll friend...haven't heard from you today. I know you are on...did you give up already since you didn't get a rise out of me??? Damn, I so much enjoy your posts to me, but you know there is another way for you to get a rise out of me. Okay I think I am done for a minute...going for a walk around the board. I find this thread extremely humorous coming from someone who devoted a whole thread to "come on, join in and have some chips"...really Siren, I've held my tongue for so long on this subject. You seem to start endless threads about telling others how to post, what to post, when to post. People come here for different reasons. Some people may NOT have anyone to turn to when they need help, advice, or just something to share. Some people view this site as a place to make friends, and when they do, they share anything and everything. What is the crime? You have shared any number of things that some would find meaningless or stupid or just plain nonsensical drivel. Why don't you just ignore them? Like I should have done here.

However, the fact that you've made this, and however many other posts identical to this one, make you just as guilty of the same thing you are preaching about. Personally, I don't give a flying fuck if someone starts 12 threads in one day, that's their prerogative, just as it is yours, mine, and ours to read or not to read the post. If you don't like it, move on, don't start a whole thread bitching about how you don't like what people post. This attitude breeds hatred, it turns away new and old members. It starts petty arguments, it detracts from why we are all here in the first place.

Well, this certainly does explain the "neener neener neener" thread that I opened first which made NO sense to me at all. 
Most of the threads don't bother me. If I open them and they seem to be all fluff, and I'm not in the mood, I just move on.
By the way Siren, I just finished my grocery shopping and now I'm leaving again to go to dinner with family. I should be back by 8:30 CST or so to check on the board. Just thought you'd like to know.

Why is it that I can go to the DMV in Louisiana, turn in an old license plate and renew my driver's license, and be out in less than an hour with my new driver's license in my wallet? But here in California, you must make an appointment to spend about 3 hours at their DMV and still wait about 2 weeks or more for your driver's license to be mailed to you...........LOL/LMAO big time.
