9am'ish, sunny, balmy breeze and about 55 degrees. A little heavier traffic than normal and outdoor ambient rumble running from 90 to 107db. People? As diverse as ever. Witnessed only one incident of a guy driving a delivery van yelling at somebody with Jersey tags. (I think any car with Jersey tags should not be allowed in Manhattan.)

It's reported here today that the Clinton's will once again resume their search for an apartment here in Manhattan. I hope they won't find one. Oh they're out there but nobody wants to live next door to them. They can't find a Co-op board to approve them. They're going to try to find a Condo - no boards to be approved by.

Same shit different day

Grey and drizzling in Freddy Beach this morning about 16C. Caught an amazing show of the Aurora Borealis last night before a front blew in and clouded things over. Not much happening here today, a meeting with Oracle and routine crap. In the province the continuing confrontation between the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and the Burnt Church MiqMaq first nation over lobster and treaty rights (no shots fired in the past 36 hours). In the country a federal election this fall is looking more and more probable.

And its my B-day.....fucking yea!

Woke up to -4 guess thats like 25 to you guys. found I'd forgot my coat at work because it was warm going home last night. So I froze my ass off scaping ice off the car windows

What bliss

It's a bright sunny but slightly cool day here in Ohio. I'm sitting here still in my pjs, hair still all screwed up and my teeth unbrushed. I'm being climbed all over by wiggly children who are still sticky from the french toast they had for breakfast (kids go ape over the littlest things). Promised the oldest one we would go buy a pumpkin this morning, for the front porch. I also need to get my ass in the garden this morning, my Roma tomatoes are still producing like mad and I've been neglecting them.
I like this thread Sparky. It's nice to know a bit about everybody's day.

Just in case some have not heard - I'm going to attempt to do this every morning for the nearly single minded purpose of allowing some of our more timid participators (the lurker's) to respond with something very simple. Or more if they want. I realize some folks just don't want to voice themselves, that's fine but some are afraid and I don't think they should be.

I'm just providing them a window of opportunity.

Cool, comfortable 65 here in Denver this morning. It's supposed to get up to 80 today. Hard to believe it snowed three days ago, and was 90 three days before that. That's what I love about Denver, the cold never lasts.
