Since Sparky's not here to do it, I thought I'd take a stab at the morning thread. Good morning all. Hope everybody had a good Christmas, and for those of you that celebrate Boxing Day, Happy Boxing Day!
Now on to the thought provoking thought of the day. What is it about trucks that provokes men to behave like idiots and think they can drive when all others can't? Down here we are in the throes of another ice storm. We had sleet and freezing rain all day yesterday, and it really picked up last night. Well, at 2:40 a.m., I was rudely awakened by two men spinning their wheels in the parking lot right outside my bedroom window. After a few minutes, I got curious and went to look. (totally bare assed nekkid LOL) Anyway, I'm still wondering how they got the truck catty-corner to the other vehicles in the lot.
Spinning wheels, truck lurches forward a little, then slides back. This kept up for several more minutes, then they rested and the driver got out to look. They started up again, and just weren't making much progress. Then the truck started to spin in place. Ooops! Then it hits hubby's truck! Big oops! I think that's when they decided to give it a rest, and shut it off and left. So we have a big ass truck resting tailgate to tailgate with hubby's truck, and also blocking my car. If they don't get it moved by 8, I'm gonna call the cops! Oh, I forgot to mention that it's also blocking through traffic in the entire parking lot.
