Garbage is the appropriate word rpg ...
I think we're all tiring of this ranting by now ...

Abuse is NOT the way to get co-writers to share stories with you!

I for one will be putting you on ignore if that is all you can do around here ...

DM

NOT!

One of the best writers I have ever crossed paths with couldn't string two words together in a sentence when he began. Over time, taking care and learning by example, his writing improved to the point that he couldn't keep up with offers from others.

No, I don't think you should leave. I do think you have potential (as do we all). Stick with it. There's always someone willing to help in a good way.

Practice makes perfect, well better anyway. Keep writing rpgfreak. If people don’t like it, they don’t have to read it.

Bad writing I can forgive.

Bad manners and hissy fits are another matter.

Writing should come from the heart. The odd mispelt word or stray comma is not important.

It is the story that you are trying to tell that is.

But flying into a temper over something so trival as bit of role play is rather a waste of time and strength.

Also less use of the "f" word as abuse might get you taken a bit more seriously.

Most round here save that word for describing some action :p

Hmmmm

For being on an erotic website, there seems to be a lot of non-sexual threads in existance. We need more on sharing wet pussies and hard cocks and what pleasures we can create; soloing, coupling and grouping. It's orgasm time.

ok maybe i did over react ok yes i did over react but i had my preaassure for collage its been stress ful and i just dont feel right being told im not good enough for anybody i been told that by nearly any one and every one im sorry for what i said and done if ya all can forgive me i appriciate it i truly am sorry

I've got nothing against your roleplaying style. I've got something against your entire first paragraph being one massive run-on sentence. It's hard to roleplay with someone when you can't understand what they say.

You know, perhaps a proper reaction to having people tell you again and again your style isn't up to snap is to reexamine it? I'm not aware of your exact situation - our paths haven't met here yet, it seems, but I'm sure people aren't telling you are 'good for nothing' and they just want you to 'go away'. I'm sure people would be glad to RP with you, if you just made an effort to do it in a way they would enjoy.

This isn't a movie, or a game, or some other one-sided entertainment here. There are people playing with one another, and, obviously, nobody is going to want to play with someone who doesn't give them what they like. You have to please your co-players if you want them to please you.

Everyone wants slightly different things here, of course, but there are some that the vast majority appreciates. Some effort with spelling and grammar is usually appreciated, and this is something you seem to lack, judging by these posts. I'm sure you went to school, and know English much better than you use it. Why not just put periods at the end of each sentence, capitalize first letter of each sentence, etc? It isn't that hard to do, and others will enjoy it.

Remember, the keyword in Literotica is "Lit". ;)

Of course, if you prefer it, you can just think we are all insane here and you are the only normal one, and leave disgruntled... I'm saying there is another way. Just make a good try. Make a genuine effort to play in a way others would enjoy, and see if you like it.

Best of luck, RPG.

Dear mister rpgfreak, I have but two suggestions for you to improve your writing:

1: Punctuation is your friend. If you just put the little dot at the end of each sentence they will instantly become easier (and therefore more enjoyable) to read. This will also allow you to mark where sentence one ends and sentence two begins.

2:Use capital letters letters in the beginning of your sentences. This is really for the same reason as stated above. It will be easier to understand what you want to say and thus more enjoyable to read.

I have never, as you probably know, rp:ed with you and my opinions are based solely on what I have read in this thread. I wish you the best of luck in your future attempts.

thanks for the sarcasam

Sarcasm can be a great learning tool.

Having said that I must also add the you shouldn't let anyone get you down. Buck up and do what you want to do, do it because it pleases you not someone else, if no-one likes it then that's their loss not yours.

RPG, what DM meant was that the advice in this thread isn't meant as sarcasm but is meant to be well meaning and helpful. People here aren't asking you to change your style of play they are asking you to work on your writing mechanics which is a reasonable request.

When you don't use comma's and periods it makes some of what you write hard to understand. I did a search on your posts and personally I find many of them hard to read simply because I can't tell where the sentences are supposed to be broken up. The posts where you do remember your periods are much more pleasurable to read.

Just my 0.02$ worth.

thank you i know what she means but i kinda find it pointless some times in my head i write th eway i speak you dont speak this way. hi mom exclemation point you say hi mom you dont say somehting adding the mark at the end

I agree you don't speak that way. However when you speak the listener can hear where one sentence ends and another begins. It is a bit tricker for most readers. I personally am a voracious reader as well as being a writer and I find that in my reading one doesn't get the same cues that speech offers. I can't HEAR where a writer intends to break up their sentences when it is written out. I need to be able to SEE it. When everything looks like one giant run on sentence than I have to read it three or four times to figure it out properly and it takes all the fun out of reading it because it starts to feel like an english assignment...and I hate homework.

well im a writer as wlel belive it or not i proof read my stuff before finalizing it but itst takeme a lot of time and posting shouldnt have to take a lot of time to make it read able

My $0.02

The purpose of punctuation is to show where certain parts of speech happen. Periods are just breaks in sentences, commas are pauses in speech and exclamation points are to show the vocal emphasis. They make everything easier to read and understand.

And I feel you should try to keep grammer and typing errors to a minium. It makes things easier to follow.

rpgfreak, I am going to be very honest with you. Take it or leave it as you choose.

Your lack of punctuation, run-on-sentences, and lack of continuity make your posts very difficult to understand. Does this make you a bad person? No. We write to communicate. We write to say something. If people cannot understand what you have written then your goal (to communicate) is not met.

The people who have taken the time to respond to you are not being rude or sarcastic. I am gently reminding you that you did ask for opinions. Granted, this site is not English Composition 101. We all make errors. But if your "writing style" is so unclear as to be impossible for people to glean your meaning, then you really do need to take a second look at your writing.

I recommend reading your posts out loud slowly. This way you can feel where the pauses occur. Hearing your own words will help you become more aware as to whether or not you are making sense.

Hey RPG Freak (tell me somethine else to call you, like a nickname or something so we don't have to call you freak or anything), I'm a writer, I'm even writing my own novel to publish. I can help you, if you want me to. I'm willing to take you under my wing and provide lessons to improve your writing. And don't feel bad, even I can be better. There is ALWAYS room for improvement, no matter how much talent a writer has. So, do you want to become my writing apprentice? When I'm done with you, you'll write like a professional. And anyone else who wants to improve their writing can join in too. Instead of pming me, reply here, so that way people can see they are not the only one.
