The Governor has fully recovered from his Covid bug and will sign it. The Democrats who caught the bug during their extended Washington DC vacation are now back home and have also recovered.

All the bills are the same. Reduce early voting hours. reduce drop box locations. Reduce polling station hours. Reduce ability for advocates of voters to submit a ballot for voters who may not have physical ability....make illegal any assistance to voters standing in line for hours due to the above. And worse - gives the state government the ability to override election officials with a simply majority vote.

There is one PAC group carbon-copying the bill to every Republican led state govt.

Not one of them addresses integrity of the election or reduces the ability for election fraud to take place. All of them cater to the GOP bullshit base who BELIEVES that there are thousands of illegals being bussed in to vote and that dead people are being used to pad votes for Democrats or that pre-completed ballots are being shipped from NY.

All it amounts to are a number of voting precincts with long lines, requiring voters to stand in line for the entirety of their day and possibly miss work and money they desperately need.
