I have seen letters from other authors stating that a series does not work in terms of interest to the readers. I have just finished a series in Exhibitionist Voyeur category called 'Áddicted To Attention', a twelve part series dealing in multiple categories and tracing a journey toward sexual fulfilment. The chapter 11 received more votes than any other story that I have ever posted. This would appear to indicate that there are times when conventional wisdom does not necessarily apply. The secret is to capture and then hold the reader's interest by a good balance of Plot, Character development, Language, Descriptive scenes and above all Believeable Sexual Interaction. I have encouraged readers to Email me and apart from a few idiotic ravings that indicate sexual fruatration, I recieved many well thought out and intelligent comments about my writing. As I said before, voting is a lottery but would indicate interest in the stories fairly well in more general terms.
My novel, Addicted to Attention is on the site. Prelude to. and My Sexual Awakening series became Addicted to Attention and I am considering putting the next part of the novel on as Mistress Barbara Chapters 1-12 or so. I would welcome comment from other serious Authors on this site. I know that there are many of you out there in literotica land.
Please comment on the BB or write to Barbara at revdickt@hotmail.com I think that this site is a magnificent opportunity for intending Authors to practice their craft and get intelligent feedback if it is used correctly.
