Go Danica!

My sister and her hubby follow Nascar but we don't, I'm afraid.

What does the rest of the racing world think? I read the article, but I'm curious about how the average racing fan views this entire thing.

I don't keep up with racing either, but I've heard Patrick's taken a lot of shit because she's also done modeling while manager her racing career. Of course, she's quite beautiful and as we all know beautiful women can't do anything meaningful with their lives.

Yo!>>>>>>>>>> Danica Rocks! Was featured on all three Broadcast networks on Sunday evening news!

hehe....She's not Nascar, she's Indy racing (IRL). She's from my neck of the woods (just a couple hours south), so I've been following her career closely (really...it had nothing to do with the bikini photos  ). I'm right next to the Joliet race track (when they run you can't go anywhere because of the traffic and you can hear the cars running from my front yard). When I showed one of her races to my daughter, she suddenly became a car racing fan (anything that involves her being able to watch a woman compete against the men is a really big deal). It was a bummer when she actually led the Indy 500 in the last 20 laps in her rookie year (but dropped back to 4th, the highest finish ever for a woman). I thought she'd win a race right away, but unfortunately it has taken this long. Hopefully the next one comes soon.

Go Danica!!! :D

The view of the average racing fan is one of wanting to do her.

I caught part of the NASCAR race yesterday (don't follow it, but appreciate skills). It was a road race, more like Indy, and more entertaining than the usual go fast turn left races.
