Global warming? As polar vortex stirs, a deep freeze threatens U.S.

High in the atmosphere above the North Pole, a spike in temperatures may soon send bone-rattling chills spilling down through the Northern Hemisphere.

The icy blasts threatening to sweep across North America, Europe and Asia starting in late January are from the same weather pattern that triggered the 2014 cold snap known as the polar vortex, which plunged temperatures in Chicago to minus 16 degrees Fahrenheit (minus 27 Celsius).

It’s common during winter for frigid air to roar down from the Arctic. But the cold mostly stayed bottled up around the North Pole in the season of 2019-2020. Now, after a nearly two-year hiatus, winter is threatening to return at last.

Global warming is a reality

There is no doubt that the globe warms up. Currently planet earth is recovering from the last of several ice ages. So, during the recover that spans thousands of years, the climate changes. It happens with or without human assistance.

For those that prefer to live in an ice world then this period of warming is upsetting. But for most of us the warmer weather has made life in places like North America much nicer.

The hoax part of global warming is fool people about cause and effect. They don't want people to know that the earth heats up and cools down with our without us.
With just a slight of hand trick they have fooled poor Greta and millions of others into thinking that cow farts are destroying the planet. They want to control our diet. Move us into government housing complexes and feed us cheap grains and take meat out of the diet. The also don't like the freedom that cars give people. So, global warming is blamed on cars and cows.

So it is not cow farts that are putting mankind at risk. It is Liberal bulls shit that is doing that.

I love how ignorant people speak of things they know nothing about.

My dear friend has a PhD and worked for NOAA. Climate change is real and totally caused by man's use of fossil fuels. Period. Fact. All reputable scientists agree. Only crackpots debate this.

The floods, hurricanes, drought, and fires you see now are nothing compared to 50 years from now. It's too late to stop. There is a long delay between carbon being put in the air and feeling the effects.

We would have had to reverse our use of carbon 30 years ago to stop what is now inevitable. I'm older and won't be here when it's nearly unbearable. If you're in your 20's or so...just wait and see.

The only ones who are giving the total truth are those scientists who are retired and are not under pressure to "downplay" the doom that lies ahead.

With Biden in office, a new EPA, and a new Secretary of Energy, we might be able to reduce the catastrophe somewhat, but it will still be bad. Very bad.
