Global Police Force to Fight Extreemism in the US?

Obama Administration and the UN team up

Hey Busybody, wake up. How did you miss this ^^ ?

The DOJ must be worried that extremists are going to take over NYC or LA. I would call in the Guardian Angels before I turned to the UN.

The Obama administration, through its Justice Department, is stridently trodding down its planned path to federalize, as much as possible, state and local police departments. We've seen it for years now as those LEAs have become exponentially more militarized, courtesy of the feds appropriating military hardware and technology and grant $$ (read, taxpayer $$) to the locals. Now, after some initial experience with the infamous power struggles that naturally occur between two (or more) entities which consider their selves the most powerful, the feds are retrenching with a more cooperative and carrot stick approach.

It's the free $$ and the free stuff, it's the largesse from the feds that is buying their independence right from under the locals' feet, as they totally close their eyes while wallowing in their seemingly insatiable gluttony for any semblance of more power over civilians.

More tragic is the American people choose to keep an even blinder eye on what's taking place in real time, their very tax $$ purchasing the unconstitutional buildup of federal superiority over all law enforcement in this once great nation.

Local police and Justice Department try new approach: collaboration

Exactly the same approach the Feds have used in every other place they want to intrude into local matters. They would have zero authority over local schools, except that the local schools accept federal mandates when they accept federal money.
