That acronym stands for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered. This is a support group for people in these classes. My question is: How active is this organization in London? I am writing a series of stories about a TS, and this would be a place for her to go and meet friends.

I know that every university has one. Not so sure about outside of the higher education system, though.

If the Gay Pride carnival in London is an indicator, London must have dozens of these groups as well as at the universities.

Thanks, Og and Zade. I rather thought that would be the case, but I didn't want to include that in the story and find out I was completely off the mark. My stories are fiction, but I hate to base them on false premises.
