Giving up

I am a divorced, 40 year old male from Canada. I am nice, charming, funny and a good listener. But I am not a good looking guy who can attract the women I find interesting. I think it is time to give up looking and instead try to work through the things stopping me. Are they any women that would like to talk about such things? And please spare me the "just do it and quit whining" speech. I am serious about working through the problem, not just figuring out a trick to scoring.
