giving up on bars but what are options?

Tired of trying to meet someone in traditional settings bars,friends hope that maybe this will start something new.
looking for women who can laugh at anything at anytime.
sense of humor very important. also very athletic esp. golf
tennis and baseball. I'm 5'8,w/m,195 lbs sandy hair,brown eyes.

Nod cheman. I'm 27 and have the same prob actually I never
liked doing bars/clubs because I don't like alcohol at all.
I also play tennis etc but with the internet it's seems hard
to meet new people now adays. Specially once your no longer
in school etc. Good luck tho I hope you find someone....If
