Given where we are today..

I'm trying to figure out how to react to a situation I recently experienced - with someone here. So here are the facts, as best as I know

- i am married with kids, she is not.
- had a great rapport with this person
- great back and forth communication in PM
- moved to chatting on skype after a few days
- after a few days of naughty back 'n forth, we played on the phone
- whereas she had expected this to be a long phone play, it wrapped up fairly quick after she climaxed, because i couldn't stay on the phone very long
- i sent her a pic, which wasn't terribly naughty - just showed a little skin. albeit, the skin color was a little on the brown side.
- she ghosts me

so i'm just trying to sort this out, and looking for some thoughts/clarity from the folks here.

I see why you are thinking what you’re intimating and it’s entirely plausible. It’s equally plausible that the short phone play didn’t live up to her expectations and she wanted more of your time.

Ghosting is incredibly common on here, any forum, there could be a legitimate reason and you’ll hear from her in a few days, you might not.

Don’t give up, good luck with your next chat partner. Your former clearly wasn’t worthy of your time and attention.

Don't give up, there are some lovely people here but that also means there are some who don't deserve your time and effort. Ghosting is a terrible tactic to play on someone but there could be a legitimate reason for their abscence, especially in the current climate. Be optimistic, you'll find someone who appreciates you, it just needs time.

I have to remember lit is definitely not real life. And yes, sometimes people ghost. Honestly, reach out again and if you're ignored you have your answer (given she's been logging in).

Just be careful my man... Unfortunately, this place lends itself to a whole lot of pretend and then it just disappears. I'll say that I've had a person totally vanish *poof* but I've had a few other people with which I formed a solid friendship that's stood the test of time and space.

Be careful, be skeptical, and guard yourself. It's a scary place out there sometimes.

hey AGG.. what is not 'real life' here ? are you saying basic rules of courtesey and decenty doesnt' matter on the net ? while i am sure we are not running off to the sunset anytime soon, however that shouldn't mean you are allowed to be a complete douche from the safety of your anonymity..

anyway - as someone already has mentioned, 'its her loss'. and fyi, i did reach out.

I doubt the skin colour had anything to do with it. Or the phone conversation in the first place. She knew you had responsibilities and couldn't stay all day on the phone. I can never understand why people ghost and destroy each other like that. How long would it take you to write a goodbye message? I don't agree that it's not real life. Of course it is. Are we human beings or monkeys? Maybe people just don't care anymore. What a sad world.

yes, i had to look at it myself, and you know, i really couldn't find a reason. some people find it easier to just ghost. i did write her short message, once i understood what happened.

you know monkeys have better sense of loyalty ? if you need a grooming, no one is gonna turn you down and yes, it is a sad world, in many aspects. but i am always hopeful.

I understand that you can't force a relationship. But a simple goodbye only takes a moment. Disappear later if you must but at least don't abuse any hearts. A little bit of consideration goes a very long way. You still never heard anything? It would haunt me day and night. But some people have no values.

Haha well loyal and accepting and monkeys are cute too. i better focus on a monkey. good luck and don't loose your hope. She stole your time, don't let her steal your spirit. The best you can do is use a little caution. We learn from our mistakes.
