let's see.
1) a begger that lives on the streets s/he lives a pour life but is actualy a do gooder.
2) a Mystical hunter in the city's of today, she is hunting unseen forces, almost as if she is liveing in two different worlds at the same time. the cops are always after her from the real world but in this other world she is hunting... somthing that she must press on while running from the cops.
3) a wanding minstral/bard in the days of yor
4) A war between planets with ships. a single co-captin (after the original captin dying) has to take his ship into the heart of the enemy camp to distroy them from within.
5) something drastic has happened to the world, now a small town myst servive as outsiders try to attack them...
(now a few of these are actualy Idea's i'm useing for comics, but your willing to use them cause there is no way in hell anyone can duplicat my storyies lol, even if useing the same original idea.)

my short story :
two people are growing up together they are cousins ... one is very mean and nasty and the other is a sweet boy that is sensitive smart and reads books suddenly the story zooms forward into the future when they are in their adult lives
one is the story of a young man who is rushing to visit his girlfriend who is in hospital he has flowers in his hands and a ring that he recently bought he plans to propose to his girlfriend
the other is of a man that is quite young and is waiting in a car outside a bank he is very nervous and scared suddenly you hear gun shots and people jumping into the car it speeds off quickly
the story jumps back to the man rushing to the hospital with the flowers in hand his head is full of crazy love running blind as he runs across an alley way a car zooms out and knocks him down the flowers flying in the air
again the story jumps detailing the thoughts going through the getaway drivers head its his first bank job and he's been promised lots of money from the cut by hes so scared because of the shots he heard and screams coming from the bank suddenly as he's speeding away a man runs infront of the car he slams on the brakes but knocks him down he laughs outloud in shock as he sees the flowers flying into the air and how beautiful they look
the story jumps again as the two men lock eyes and realize that they are cousins who havent seen eachother sense they played as kids
thats all i thought of so far pretty stupid i know but i was trying to think of a twisty kinda story that i could do something with i'd probably swap lots round and change the whole thing ... i have some ideas of how i would carry it on
either it would go forward and detail how the crash changed both the kids lifes (for the good kinda like pheonix rises from ashes) ... or it would go back and the twist would be that the smart young sensitive kid is the bank robber and the nasty one is the one that bought the flowers
