Wow! I remember this account. I haven’t seen before this that the hacked accounts belong to accounts that were previously very active participants.
I wonder if the rest of his social accounts are hacked as well.

We have seen an upswing in older “dormant” accounts here being hacked or taken over by scammers and/or SEO spammers. I don’t think it’s related to other social media.

I'm always curious as to how these spammers gain control of accounts. If they aren't breathing the forum database, they must be getting the credentials elsewhere. Why target dormant accounts?

Some people use the same password for all, or many, sites. That was even more common years ago.

Also, I wonder if Literotica might have allowed easy-to-guess passwords back in the day. This account was only created this year.
